I love my Kiri baby, but I don't like writing about him. However, I thought people might start reading this book if I start putting in more characters. So here you go!
----------------------------
As the rain fell, you lay there in a pool of blood, trying to work out your chances of getting to the hospital in time.
Your thoughts were getting fuzzy, and your chances of survival were barely 5%. Barely anyone ever walked through this alleyway, and the nearest hospital was 30 minutes away. Plus, the knife had stabbed something vital. You didn't know what, but you were finding it harder to breathe by the minute.
Even if someone found you, there was no hope. Unless it was someone with a very, very well practiced healing quirk.
You had always known that you would die one day, but you found it kind of pathetic that you were going to in this dank, smelly place. At least you could see the stars.
Your life was flashing before your eyes, showing you memories you had with your friends, your parents, and your Eijiro.
Oh no.
Eijiro.
You weren't at all worried about dying, because you'd always accepted that there was a huge possibility you would die unnaturally.
But Eijiro.
You knew he'd be torn apart by your death. You'd always known, from the very start of your relationship, that he loved you and you loved him. All the happy moments and all the rocky ones, all the love and all the pain, you both have been through hell together for 6 years. He'd promised you that you would be engaged to him by the end of this year, if you'd have him. Of course you would.
Maybe if you'd waited just a bit longer he wouldn't have to break that promise.
And at that moment, as the life drained out of your body, the rain hitting your skin, your only regret was never being able to marry this man. This wonderful, kind, beautiful man that you'd learned to love. You were sad that you wouldn't be able to see him before you went. And it seems God took pity on you, because there he was.
Holding your hand,
tears streaming down his face,
his love that's never wavered, not even once.
He was there in your last moments, with a ring in his hands.
A ring.
An engagement ring.
...
"Ei?" You breathed out, reaching for his hand. He grasped it immediately. He wasn't going to say the "You're going to make it" crap- he well knew that you weren't dumb
.
"Y/N..." His voice was shaky, tears were falling down his face. He took a deep breath, forcing a crooked smile onto his features.
"I've always loved you. From the moment you stepped foot in 1-A, I loved you. You're so, so special and I love you so much. You were always there for me, you were always by my side to cheer me on or comfort me when I was sad. And I- I want that to be engraved in my memory, permanently."
He held the ring, hesitantly, as if afraid you would reject him.
"Honeybun, I love you so much- I want to love you for as long as I'm alive, and even after I'm dead. I... want to be with you together and- even if we'll never be married, I want to be yours forever." He gave you a broken smile, kissing your lips with a gentle passion.
"Y/N, w-will you wait for me? Will you wait for me to go up there with you, and marry you in the clouds?"
"Yes, Ei. I will, I will, I love you so much..."
And those were your last words. As he slipped the ring onto your finger, and held your lifeless body, he knew you were gone. He kissed your forehead and sat there with you, the rain and your blood and his tears mixing together perfectly.
