💙Eijiro x Reader- Bother💙

Bro I am on writer's block right now, help me!

The two of you were walking around town, hand in hand, walking back from a trip to the bakery with a bag of pastries, when you suddenly started to wonder-

You were at the bottom of Class 1-A, below even Mineta. Although you tried and tried, pushing yourself harder and harder each and every day, you still always managed to somehow fall below your expectations.

So why was someone at the top of the class like Eijiro dating you? Did he truly love you? Were you a bother to him? He always had to help you study for tests and constantly gave you his homework to copy off of because your answers would be wrong most of the time.

Were you in the way?

Eijiro noticed your sudden mood change. He gave you a gentle smile and asked, "Baby? What's on your mind?"

"I..." Your mind swirled with thoughts. After a moment, you countered, "Am I a bother to be around?"

You were suddenly pulled back. Turning, you saw his horrified expression and your breath hitched- did he really think that way about you?

"What... what made you think like that? How could you think that?"

His breathy cries sent stabs of pain through your heart. How could you have ever doubted his love for you? Despite everything, he loved you, and that was definite. 

"N-nothing... I... I just thought-" Your words were cut off as he dropped the bag of pastries, leaping forward to embrace you.

He pulled you close to him, strong arms wrapping tightly around you, his quick heartbeat alarming yet soothing at the same time. Soothing, because it let you know that he really did care about you.

"Don't think like that. Y-you hear me? It isn't manly of you to assume things that aren't real, and never will be. You're not a bother, you'll never be a bother!" His warm breath caressed your ear, tickling the skin. His worried tone warmed your heart as you nodded.

"Okay, Ei. I'm not a bother."

"I love you, baby, never forget that. Now, come on! Aizawa-sensei might expel us if we're back too late." He chuckled, taking your hand once again. You already missed the warmth of his body against yours.

...

"U-uh... N/N?"

"Yesss?"

"Don't be mad when I tell you this, but..."

"..."

"WE FORGOT THE PASTRIES!!"

"WHAT?!??! EI!!!"

"I'M SORRY!!!"
