❤Hitoshi x Reader- Get Some Rest❤

Hey loves! I don't have motivation to write, at all, and honestly no one reads my shit, but I thought this would be a cute idea for today's upload. Sorry if it turns out shitty, but when I'm on writer's block you know it's gonna be bad.

You yawned, stumbling home from a long day at your office. You were hungry and you were tired. You were also lugging home a folder of unfinished work, and groaned at the thought of having to fill out all those blank forms.

You practically crawled up the doorsteps to your house. Fumbling with your keys, you managed to open and shut the door quietly to avoid waking your possibly sleeping partner, even though there was a high chance that he wasn't asleep.

He wasn't, and he was waiting for you, sitting in the dining room patiently. As soon as he heard your footsteps, he turned his head and jumped up from the couch to meet you. He wrapped his arms around you, smiling at how cute you looked when you were sleepy.

"Toshi, were you waiting for me?" You mumbled, leaning into him.

"No, I was sleeping- Yes, I was waiting for you. What else would I be doing?"

Oh right, he had insomnia. You had forgotten that one detail.

"Ugh, I'm literally running on coffee right now. Hun', can you make me some food, please? I can't stay awake on fake energy."

Hitoshi raised his eyebrow questioningly. "Doll, what do you mean, stay awake? Aren't you going to go sleep?"

Sighing, you said, "I wish. There's a bunch of paperwork that's due next week, and I can't make time to finish it in the office. I have to do it here."

Frowning, he scanned you up and down with his enchanting purple eyes. He noticed your dark eye bags, your slouched posture, the way you looked like you were about to collapse any minute-

"I'll do it."

Snapping your head up to look at him, your grip on him wavered a bit.

"W-what? What do you mean, you'll do it?"

Shrugging, he replied, "I can't sleep anyways. Plus, as a hero, I have a lot of experience doing this kind of stuff." He patted your head and gave you a soft kiss on your forehead and cheek.

"Get some rest, doll. You deserve it."
