All the girls in the friend group (excluding Rachel but including Kurt) showed up to Quinn's house that night to help the blonde pick out clothing for her date the next night.

Marcy stared at Kurt as the girls were going through the ex-head cheerleader's closet.

Kurt caught the stare. "What?"

"You don't have news?"

Kurt blinked then blushed as the others stopped to stare at him.

"Kurt!"

"How do you know these things?"

"Just tell them."

"Tell us what?!" Tina had to know.

Kurt chewed on his hand before smiling and shouting, "Dave and I have a new boyfriend!"

"What happened to Blaine?!"

"I think he means Blaine." Brittany whispered.

"Oh."

Kurt nodded. "It's Blaine."

"What happened?" Mercedes was confused.

Kurt told the whole story about how the trio met up for coffee and Blaine admitted to not sleeping well at night because he was torn between two crushes. Kurt and Karofsky. He dreamt about both and thought about them all the time. He'd literally had no clue what to do but he'd had a conversation with Marcy about his feelings and Marcy had told him to be brave and tell the truth.

Quinn squealed. "I told you she would make him crazy about you!"

Mercedes nodded happily. "He's hooked!"

Kurt was so happy. "Yeah. I think he is. He looked so relieved when we said we'd open our relationship up to him."

"Go on, Hummel!" Lauren laughed.

Quinn felt a renewed effort to dazzle Kelly. Screw Finn.

Puck looked up when Mercedes shuffled in. "Hey? Where'd you go?"

"To Quinn's." She climbed in the bed, exhausted as she rarely left the house since the baby was born.

"How is she?"

She eyed him.

He wondered why she was just staring at him. "What?"

"I'm deciding if I should tell you."

"What?" He blinked at that. "Why?"

"You might tell Finn."

He tried to work out mentally the ramifications of that. "I-"

"I'll tell you. She's doing great."

"She is? Why didn't you want Finn to know that?"

"So he can't ruin it."

His head jerked as he realized she was right. "I hate this shit is going on."

"Me too. I thought Finn was better than this."

He lifted a shoulder. "I'm glad she's doing good though."

She smiled at him. "You're so good. She has a date."

"A what?!"

"A date."

He was gobsmacked that she'd just repeated that like that. "She has a date? While they're still married?"

"Yeah but they're getting divorced."

His eyes grew. "Oh."

"Yeah." She got up carefully. "I'm about to take a bath. Is she still asleep?"
