Not a Bad Thing

Finn rubbed his eyes as he shuffled into the kitchen for breakfast. His family was already inside. He sat at the table as Delia set his plate in front of him. "Thank you."

"You're welcome, Mr. Finn." The chef smiled and went about cleaning up her mess.

Finn began eating. "Good morning."

Quinn smiled. "Good morning."

Fallyn screeched.

Finn beamed at his baby.

"What are we doing here?" Puck looked around the cemetery in trepidation.

"Having fun." Mercedes lifted her fists high.

Marc and Mike whooped loudly as Mal howled.

Quinn clapped. "I can't wait for Fallyn to go!"

"Go? Go where?" Finn hefted the baby.

Maddie was so excited. "I wanna go first!"

"Me too." Marcy decided.

"I wanna go!" Lisa didn't even know where they were going.

Marcy rolled her eyes. "Come on here! Help us, Mikey."

Mike snickered as he helped the trio up the hill. The girls sat on a toboggan/sled hybrid and he pushed them over the large bluff.

Mal caught it all on camera as they all screamed happily.

Snow sprayed over everyone at the bottom.

Mal helped his wife and sisters up. "How was it?"

"Whoo!" Marcy felt exhilaration.

Maddie jumped around. "Again! Again!"

Lisa wanted to go again. "Again! Again!"

Laura wrapped an arm around both. "You'll have to wait until Mercy and Quinnie go."

"Yay!" Mercedes dragged Quinn up the hill.

Tina was terrified to go. Everyone had gone, including Fallyn. But she was scared.

Marcy offered to go with her.

Tina shook the whole time they were climbing the slope.

Marcy sat in the hybrid and pulled Tina down behind her. "Hold tight!"

Not a problem! Tina clung to her back.

Marc pushed them.

They went flying.

Marcy yelled happily.

Tina screamed fearfully.

When they got to the bottom, Tina was shaking like a leaf. Mike came to pick her up. "Wasn't that fun?"

She raised terror stricken eyes to his. "It was."

He laughed at the confusion in her voice. "Want to go again?"

She nodded quickly.

"What are we doing today?" Puck wanted to know.

Mercedes finished getting ready for school. "What do you mean?"

"With your family."

"They're your family, too."

He smiled warmly. "Okay. What are we doing today with our family?"

She smiled back. "We're watching movies."
