Later Newt, Ingrid and Thomas went off to the Medjacks.
Newt: Jeff what's going on?, what's the matter with her why won't she wake up?
Jeff: Hey man, I got my job the same way you did
Ingrid turned to face Thomas.
Ingrid: Do you recognize her?
Thomas: No
Newt: No really because she seem to recognize you
Thomas: What about the note
Newt: We'll worry about the note later
Thomas: I think you should worry about it now
Newt: We've got enough to deal with at the moment
Jeff: He's right Newt, the box isn't coming back up, how long do you think we can last
Newt: No one said that, let's not jump to any conclusions we just...we just wait until she wakes up and see what she knows, somebody's got to have some answers round here

Ingrid ran after Thomas.

Thomas: Newt said that no one's ever seen a Griever and lived to tell about it right? Ingrid now I have seen one you're telling me you're not even a little bit curious
Ingrid: Well personally I'm a fan of ignoring a problem until it eventually just goes away
Thomas starts to walk to the Maze again and Ingrid stops him.
Ingrid: So what's the plan you gonna go out and dissect that thing all by yourself
Thomas: I will if I have to the other Runners left yet
Ingrid: The other Runners quit this morning, after Alby got stung they're not in any hurry to get back out there, why are you?
Thomas: I think it's time we find out what we're really up against

Gally: This morning when you were out finding the dead Griever
Minho: Yes
Gally: This morning you told me you were alone and Thomas was here

Thomas: Yeah, whoever put us here obviously made the Grievers now this is the first real clue the first thing you've found in over three years right Minho

Thomas: Newt we gotta go back out there who knows where this might lead us
Gally: You see what he's trying to do right, first he breaks our rules and then he tries to convince us to abandon them totally, the rules are the only thing that have ever held us together why now are we questioning that if Ably was here you know he'd agree with me this Shank needs to be punished
Ingrid: Newt?
Newt gives the device to Ingrid.
Newt: You're right, Thomas broke the rules one night in the pit and no food
Gally: Oh come on Newt one night in the pit you think that's gonna stop him from going into the Maze
Newt: No and we can't just have non runners running into the Maze whenever they feel like it so let's just make this official starting from tomorrow you're a runner
Ingrid smiles a little.
Gally: Wow
Gally walks out.
