The next day. Thomas was in the pit with Teresa.
Chuck: What the hell were you thinking
Thomas: What happened
Newt: Gally's taking control, he said we had a choice, either join him or get banished at sundown with you
Thomas: The others agreed to that
Teresa: Gally has everyone convinced that you're the reason all this has happened
Thomas: Well he's been right so far
Ingrid: What are you talking about
Thomas: This place it's not what we thought it was, it's not a prison it's a test, it all started when we were kids, they'd give us these challenges, they were experimenting on us and then people started disappearing every month one after the other like clockwork
Newt: Sending them up into the Maze
Thomas: Yeah but not all of us
Newt: What do you mean
Thomas: Guys, I'm one of them, the people who put you here I worked with them, I watched you guys for years, the entire time you've been here I was on the other side of it
Thomas faces Teresa.
Thomas: So were you
Teresa: What?
Thomas: Teresa we did this to them
Teresa: No, it can't be true
Thomas: It is I saw it
Teresa: Why would they send us up if we were with them?
Thomas: It doesn't matter
Newt: He's right, it doesn't matter any of it, the people we were before the Maze they don't even exist anymore these creators took care of that, what does matter is who we are now and what we do right now, you went into the Maze and found a way out
Thomas: If I hadn't Alby would still be alive
Newt: Maybe but I know that if he were here he would be telling you the exact same thing pick your ass up and finish what you started because if we do nothing that means Alby died for nothing and I can't have that
Thomas: Okay, okay but we gotta get through Gally first
They figured out a plan. Gally's friends brang Teresa and Thomas to the doors of the Maze.
Gally: This is such a waste
Winston: Gally
Gally turns to face Winston.
Winston: It doesn't feel right man
Jeff: Yeah what if Thomas is right maybe he can lead us home
Gally: We are home okay, I don't want to have to cross any more names off that wall
Ingrid: Gally why is there a third pole?
Gally: Oh I almost forgot, that pole is for you
Ingrid: What?
Gally's friends grabbed Ingrid and took her to the pole.
Ingrid: Get off of me!
Ingrid tires to get out.
Ingrid: Newt!
Newt: Gally what are you doing?!
Gally: This is for her, I saw she didn't like being the only girl so, yeah
Newt: She is my sister!
Teresa: You really think banishing us is going to solve anything
Gally: No, this isn't a banishing, it's an offering
Teresa: What
The guy's tied up Teresa and Ingrid.
Ingrid: Wait Gally! Newt please!
Teresa: What are you doing?
Gally: You really think I'm gonna let Thomas back into the Maze after what he's done
Ingrid: It wasn't Thomas's fault that this all happened, why can't you see that?
Gally: Look around you, look at our Glade, this is the only way and when the Grievers get what they came here for everythings goes back to the way it was, tie him up do you hear me I said tie him up
The guys were gonna lift Thomas up when he started attacking them. Newt ran over and freed Ingrid and Teresa.
Ingrid: Thanks Newt
They ran over to Thomas who was holding a spear towards the rest of the Glade. Frypan gives Ingrid Alby's charm.
Gally: Your full of surprises aren't you
Thomas: You don't have to come with us but we are leaving, anyone else who wants to come now's your last chance
Gally: Don't listen to him, he's just trying to scare you
Thomas: No, I'm not trying to scare you, you're already scared, all right I'm scared but I rather risk my life out there, we don't belong here, this place isn't our home, we were put here, okay we were trapped here, at least out there we have a choice, we can make it out of here, I know that
Then Winston joined Thomas.
Jeff: I'm sorry Gally
Jeff joined, then another and another boy joined.
Thomas: Gally, it's over, just come with us
Gally thinks for a moment.
Gally: Good luck against the Grievers
Then Thomas and the others start running into the Maze.
Thomas: Keep it up guys we're almost there
Then Thomas stops everyone. He looks around the corner to see a Griever.
Chuck: Is there a Griever?
Thomas: Yeah
Chuck: Shit
Ingrid: You take this Chuck
Ingrid gives Chuck the device.
Ingrid: Stay behind us
Teresa: It's okay just stick with me
Ingrid: Make sure he doesn't get hurt
Teresa: You can trust me
Thomas: Once we're through, it'll activate and the door will open, alright we stay close, we stick together, we get through this, we get out now or we die trying, ready, alright, let's go!
They all ran out yelling towards the Griever. They start attacking the Griever.
Chuck: The key!
The key slipped from Chuck's hand and he went after it.
Teresa: Chuck!
Chuck quickly grabs the device but sees a Griever coming up.
Teresa: Come on!
Teresa and Chuck make it to the door.
Teresa: There's got to be a way out come on
Chuck: It won't open
Then a screen turns on.
Teresa: Thomas, there's a code, 8 numbers
Thomas: 8 sections of the Maze, hey Ingrid, what's the sequence
Ingrid: What did you say?
Thomas: The section of the Maze what's the sequence
Ingrid: 7 1 5 2 ah 6 4
Newt: Ingrid!
A Griever comes from above them and Minho pushes her out of the way and the Griever lands on Minho.
Ingrid: Minho!
Thomas: Minho!
Minho tries to get the Griever off of him.
Minho: Get off of me!
Then Jeff ran towards the Griever and stuck his spear into the Grievers head. Ingrid ran and pulled Minho out from under the Griever.
Minho: Thanks Bean
Ingrid: Your welcome Min but we're not through this yet
Winston: Jeff!
Jeff gets taken away.
Chuck: Ingrid, what's the sequence, come on!
Ingrid: Ah 6 4 8 3, got it?
Thomas: Keep holding, all most there, come on
Ingrid: Get that door open!
They all make it to the door. Then everything goes black.
