Trust, a bridge between persons,
Tribes, races and nations.
A pillar to a building
A laid foundation
Trust, an oxymoronic concept,
Industriously formed, easily broken.
A one chance of perfection, shaped like a glass cup
Quite fragile to be shattered hardcore
Trust is a fixed sculpture
Once broken, its gone.
Struggling to reassemble the broken pieces
It never remains the same as it previously was.
There's always a victim
Could be anybody
What was the trust built on?
Naiveté or skepticism
A trust built on naiveté
Like a house built on sand
No worries of outside factors
A surprising shock of destruction.
A trust built on Skepticism
Like two enemies living together
Watching their every move
A cynical disdainful relationship.
What is the best foundation of trust?
A trust built on courage
A purposeful relationship
Setting aside their differences.
For a goal.
You're full of snakes
so am I
Let's put that aside
And work to build a lasting relationship.
