2. Daisy = blueh

Hailey pov:
NEXT DAY
I was having a really bad headache in class, the band competition was tomorrow..I couldn't concentrate on anything, my mind was full of songs and doubts and everything that could go wrong. I could see myself freezing on stage as everyone eyes darted towards me. I could hear people shouting at me "Hailey! Hailey!" Booing me. I turned around and saw that Luke and Zander.. looked like they were in middle school again. Jake, sean and milly had vanished. I looked back at the crowd, Zoey and her friends whispering. I could hear their murmurs getting louder and louder-

"HAILEY!" I sprang up and saw my teacher angry. "Hailey I asked you a question now answer it!" He shouted pointing at the board. I looked over at the board and read the question.

What the actual flying fuck. Well I don't know I had been daydreaming the whole lesson. "November 1918" Lia whispered under her breath not even looking at me. "November 1918!" I exclaimed. "Correct. But what day?." The teacher sighed sitting down at his desk. I glanced over to Lia who was filling her nails so my next choice was Jake who was in his phone under the table not paying attention. Great. I looked around the room and saw everyone looking at me.. oh god. Jake looked up waving his hands mouthing to me.. seventh? OH! "T-the 7th?" I stuttered as I sat back down. "No, the 11th." The teacher said "pay attention."

I looked over at Jake who had his palm in my face. "Thanks." I muttered to Lia "yeah whatever." She rolled her eyes.

I was packing my things when Zoey came over and started to talk to Lia about some crap. "Anyway, Hailey." They said moving towards me. I looked up they never talk to me unless they're making fun. "So, the band competition is tomorrow?" Zoey asked "Uh yes." I said confused. "Ah! Drew bought me and the others seats to see Jake." She laughed showing off Drew's money. "Cool." I said not really caring. "So this is our first time hearing Jake sing!" She smiled. "Okay." I said, I really didn't want to get in anything or start. "It's really nice you let him back in!" She continued starting to grin. "I heard from Daisy that he's really good! She sounded quite impressed!" Lia added. "Yeah, she comes in and watches." I said putting my pencil case away. Lia and Zoey looked at each other then back at me.

"So, how is she dating Sean?" Zoey smirked. "Huh? What- they're not dating!" I stuttered. What was she on about? "Oh please tell us! Look at this," Zoey begged as she got out her phone and showed me a picture of a flustered Sean and Daisy with a rose in her hair. "Um, I don't know.." I said taking a closer look.. it does look like they were on a date."Off! I'll get Lia to send it to you!" She snapped putting her phone away. "It's looks to me that they were on a date! And you know Jake likes Daisy right?" Lia said. "yes," i said, I was confused "he's made that clear."

"Okay, we showed Jake aswell he got really upset and said all that stuff anyway.." Zoey said looking at Lia. "what do you think would happen if they started dating?" She asked. "Well, I'll be happy for them." I picked up my bag and put it over my shoulder. "Yes but what about Jake?" Lia asked. "Well..um" I sighed "I'll confront him I guess. Depends on how he feels, I don't know uh I need to go, I have to meet-"

"Okay whatever that can wait," Lia rolled her eyes. I saw Drew, Henry, Liam and Jake standing by the door chatting. Probably waiting for Lia and Zoey. "We just want to know if anything was happening between them but I guess there is nothing." Lia said disappointed. "Look I need to go just don't start any rumours like you did with Jake alright!" I forcefully said, no way I what would what if happened to Jake to Sean or Daisy."Whatever, no need to get defensive or upset! We not gonna tell anyone promise!" Zoey said rolling her eyes too.

If these girls roll their eyes one more time I'll make sure the next time they do the roll it so far back it gets stuck.

"Okay fine whatever." I said leaving. I walked pass Drew and the other and grabbed Jake pulling him away. "Hey! Woah, You good?" Jake exclaimed losing balance. "Yes yes, just Zoey being Zoey again." I mumbled. "What?" Jake asked as we stopped. "It's fine, she just thinks Daisy and Sean are dating." I sighed in disbelief. "Oh." He said quietly. "I'm sorry I know you like her and-"

"Huh? Oh it's fine I don't like her anymore." Jake said like nothing. He started to walk to the music room. "You coming?" He asked. "What! You don't like Daisy anymore?!" I exclaimed walking up to him my hands going crazy. "It's fine I stopped a couple days ago."

"Huh? Fine?! You can't say that and expect me to be 'fine' about it!" I said grabbing his arms shaking him. "Woah, calm down hails." He laughed placing his hands on mine,  a signal to let go. "You've liked her for like ever! Like you are a Simp! Its your whole personality! Its- why?" I let go of him in shocked. "Um, well I kinda um." He looked weird about this.

"Okay well when the incident happened," he was talking about the audio. "I thought about Daisy and Sean after and realised that me and Daisy aren't meant.. to be.. but more like her and Sean are. When I saw them in the music room talking about things they have in common and them comforting each other in the park.. and this photo Zoey showed me." Jake muttered. We had seen the same photo. "I realised that I don't like her as much anymore.. and that Sean did. He deserves her."

"Oh Jake, that's sweet um.." To be honest I didn't know what to say, he didn't look happy but he didn't look sad. Hard to read, hard to say. "Fine! Its fine, it really is." He said, he sounded generally fine which was not what I was expecting. But there was this small tint that he wasn't "I want them to get together, they are nice together."

"Okay, uh let's go." I said as we walked to the music room.
