Jakes POV:
Ten minutes till show down. I could hear people  outside talking, woah. I was slightly nervous to be honest i mean there was a lot of people but I didn't want to scare Hailey anymore. Last time I sang in front of people was elementary school..I got bullied so bad all the way until freshman. Just thinking about it gives me nightmares but I'm singing with Hailey now! She's a great singer and I know we can do this.I looked over at her who was not excited as I thought she would be. She was happy but not, I didn't really know what to say I'm bad at comforting people. Good thing is that we weren't on till later, we are act 14 out of 22 so that can give me time to I don't know say inspiring stuff to her?

"Okay Act 1 'a bunch of clowns' you're on in 8 minutes start getting ready."an assistant said as the band started to make their way on stage. "So.. what's your favourite lyrics you wrote in our song?" I sat down next to Hailey, I noticed she was looking at the ground distracted by something. "Mhm? Oh Ahh! I cant chose!" She chuckled slightly pulling out her phone. "Yes but if there was a gun at you head at that was the question what would it be?" I asked. "Why is there a gun at my head?" She asked. "Answer the question." I demanded pretending to load a air gun. Hailey just laughed as she put her hands up. "Ah! I really don't know!" She said. I pretended to shot her. "Wrong!" I smirked blowing the gun and placing it in my pocket. She gasped and sat up looking back at her phone. "What's your favourite lyric then?" She asked me smirking. "Obviously the ones I wrote like duh-" I scoffed. Hailey shot me. "What was that for?" I exclaimed pretending to hold my waist were the blood is coming out. "Wrong!" She mimicked me.

I laughed and so did she. She's so amazing. She was on her phone again. "Look at this new app I got!" I said pulling out my phone and showing her. I wanted to be ok my phone aswell. She leant in and glanced at it before looking at me furrowing. "What?" I asked. "Seriously a sound effect app?" She scoffed. "It's so cool look!" I exclaimed pressing one to the icons that make a firealarm sound. "You're such a child." She shocked her head laughing lightly. I narrowed my eyes "is that jealousy I hear!" I scoffed back even louder than she did. "You wish." She scoffed back mocking my scoff placing her phone down trying not to laugh. "I do!" I smiled back "good princess! You put your phone down!" I saw her go flustered as she sat up sitting cross legged in her chair.

"Don't call me that." She said. I tilted my head aa I  placed my hand against her pounding heart inching closer and whispered, "But you like it, don't you?" She gasped quietly at the whole gesture "I-" she stuttered in shock. I pulled back laughing. She so easy to fool.

"Don't do that!" She exclaimed hitting my arm softly. She looked down looking hurt. I didn't mean to hurt her. Oh no. She looked over at Milly who was falling off her chair giggling. I looked at Hailey making sure she is okay but she was blushing like crazy and mouthing stuff to Milly. Honestly I don't get girls- "uh.. I'm gonna get a drink want anything?" I asked her standing up "stop! Huh? Ohh Uh okay!" She said forcing a smile. I grabbed my bag and walked over towards the vending machine and inserted in the cash. Was Hailey hurt? I was just messing around like I usual do.. normally it's just flirting but did I weird her out cause almost kissed her? We've done that before she looked fine! I'm probably over reacting. (Ep 6)

"Jake?" I heard a voice behind me. "Oh Hail-" I turned around to see a girl around my age in a tight yellow dress with dark down hair. "Jake!" She exclaimed "I'm sorry?" I asked. Who is this human. "Jake? It's me Sophie?" She said. "Oh my god! Sophie! Hi wow!" I exclaimed. "You still into to music? I thought you stopped after show and tell week." Sophie laughed. "Oh well. Sort of but I've never given up!" I said. "That's good! Like to see you don't have that long hair again!" She laughed. "Yes was not a good idea to grow it out past my ears!" I laughed too. "Did not suit me-" we had a laugh. Sophie was a friend of mine in elementary school, she was friends with Daisy haven't seen her in forever since her parents moved to a different town. "So you're back in town or just to the competition?" I asked. "Back in town! My Dads business got moved downtown to here so we moved back here a two years ago." She said. "You should of called! Daisy would of loved to see you!" I said. "Aw! I would love to see her! I never got her number sadly." He sighed "well I have it here!" I smiled taking my phone out my bag. "Thanks Jake!" She smiled "Heart Fighters please announce to the stage!" Heard an assistant call. "That's me." Sophie said "nice seeing you Jake!" She called running off to her band "you too!" I called.
