[A/n: CALE IS GOD!!!

By the way, this is my take on Regressor!Cale.]

Honestly, Cale was not sure what to think of this situation.

Staring at his scar free body in the full sized mirror, he ran a hand through his hair. It did not have the rough texture from the neglect he had shown it during the war. His hands were not bruised from the regular use of his sword and his right leg didn't hurt whenever he walked.

He didn't know how to feel.

He closed his eyes for a second, a habit he had whenever he was deep in thought, and thought that he should be happy for this chance. He could save his people, his family and even some other random people who he had somehow called his friends. But every single relationship he had worked on for the past 20 something years was now non-existent.

He didn't have anyone he could count on to help him.

He was absolutely alone.

He sighed before putting on his bath robe and walking out towards a waiting Hans. He wondered for a moment about Ron before shrugging it off.

"Something plain for today."

"U-Understood young master."

He glanced at the scared butler once. He wondered why he was acting like that. Looking around his room, he realized why.

There was not a single thing which could fit in his hand. He remembered he used to break things a lot whenever he drank so he supposed that was the reason why. Hans was likely scared of accidently being hit by him.

"I'll be going out. Don't follow me."

"Wi-without breakfast, young master?"

"Yes."

He needed to see the people himself. He needed to see them alive and breathing.

Sitting in the carriage he gazed out the window and saw the people going about their daily lives. Some of them looked happy, some of them looked troubled, some looked frustrated and some were just waking up. He took in a deep breath and felt himself choking slightly.

Every single one of them was alive.

His people.

His family.

And even that dumb Choi Han with all of his party members.

The tigers from the east, the whales in the sea and those dragons who were killed simply because of their existence.

Even if he was alone, at least he had a chance. A chance to restart and kill that White Star with his own hands. A chance to atone and somehow help the world to not come to an end.
