[A/n: How come nobody told me that Akira Amano had made this absolutely spectacular series? Like, have you seen Ron? I swear upon the all mighty Raon Miru that I was melting when I saw his face.]

She was just another student at Blue.

She understood that fact quite easily. The bet she had made had required her to be just that. She was sure that Dr. Hirsch would be laughing at her for falling for his taunts and agreeing to his bet but, what was done was done.

"Hey, could you tell me where I can find Dr. Hirsch?"

She knew who it was she had asked for directions. She had done her research on the whole of the student and teacher faculty so it would be impossible for her to not know who it was.

He looked at her once, likely realizing that she was a new student, before giving her the directions.

"You should have checked the map-"

She interrupted him before he could finish his unneeded remark.

"The file for the map I was given was malfunctioning so I couldn't."

Her grin didn't leave her face as her eyes discreetly roamed around his surroundings. The students, who had just left their classrooms, were all looking at them most likely wondering why a new student could be talking to Ron Kamonohashi, the infamous loner of the school.

"Thank you for your help."

She slightly bowed while thanking him before moving in the directions he had told her.

It had been simple curiosity which had led her to talk to him. The rumors about him were somewhat accurate. It was not as though he was totally unconcerned about people however. He most likely did not meet someone who could stick around him for longer than 10 minutes and not be irritated at his attitude.

She was quick to reach Dr. Hirsch's office. Frowning at the unpleasant smell of chemicals and perhaps of rotten corpses as well, she knocked 4 times in a specific pattern before inviting herself in.

It had been a code between them which they had used on a case they had worked on.

'We'll have to work on one now though.'

In Blue, it would be easy for anyone to tell that they were close just from the fact that they used a secret code like this.

"You actually did it."

He seemed slightly shocked at her appearance in Blue but his grin was still present on his face. He was most likely amused at her, an illegal information broker was attending a school for detectives in the making.

"Well, I do have a lot to gain, Dr. Hirsch."

She smiled at him, her eyes folding into crescents as she looked at his weird hairstyle and the bodies of some animals he was likely using for his classes. She unconsciously frowned in disgust at the display of some of them before focusing back on the man standing in front of her.

"Still haven't gotten used to them?"

"I would prefer to not be getting used to them."

He let out a small laugh before giving her two vials. She read the labels on them once before ripping them off the glass bottles.

"This is the one you need to drink right now."

He passed her another vial along with a glass of ice cold water.

To Hirsch, he was performing a live experiment on Minerva. He had wanted to see the results of mithridatism. Minerva, however, had simply wished to build immunity against drugs and poisons. She knew why he had been doing this however, she also knew that he would not let her die.

If she were to die then no one as powerful as her would be left by his side to clean up his messes.

She opened the vial and barely kept herself from retching at the foul smell. She looked up at him and frowned again at his very amused grin before gritting her teeth and sighing out loud.

She was quick to drink all of the poison provided to her before drinking the glass of water as well.

"You ******."

She straightened herself before moving towards her first class for the day.
