On Friday, Maya was sitting on the beach when Carina arrived.
The brunette had come and stood next to her and tilted her head to look at her.

- "Didn't you forget something?"

- "ummmm no?!"

- "last time I checked... To surf... You need a board." Carina had tugged at the collar of Maya's shirt to look inside. "And a bathing suit."

- "we've been coming here for days... We could do something else."

- "what are you thinking?"

- "have you visited the island?"

- "not really... I had to... And then I saw this gorgeous blonde and the island went out the window."

- "we'll leave now and go to Honolulu then."

They had had an hour's drive to Pearl Harbor, their first stop. They had started by going to breakfast while waiting for the site to open.

- "having a real breakfast, just with you, without sand in your shorts... Without eating a piece of pizza that's been sitting out for hours... It's still something else..."

- "Sunday morning I'll make you breakfast"

The brunette had blushed as she lowered her head so Maya had shaken her hand, which she had taken in hers, so she would look at her. She had then tilted her head questioningly wondering why this reaction.

-"You have a calm, focused side... You're romantic, you made me a picnic, you want to make me breakfast... Maya I've never fallen for anyone like that... And I'm the one with experience in dating and yet when I'm with you I feel like I'm the newbie and you're the experienced one. Like everything you do is natural."

- "I don't have to force myself with you, everything is natural... I don't know how to explain it, but yesterday when we were in the water and I carried you, I felt like it and I wasn't ashamed of it, I don't see why I should hide what I feel like because, as far as I remember... In my eyes you wanted it too".

- "you are so confident... And that makes you way too attractive to have clothes on at not even eight in the morning".

- "in case it's not clear... I've never fallen for anyone like you either".

The waitress had come to bring them their plate of pancakes, bacon and hasbrown.

- "We're never going to get to eat all this! It's huge!"

- "I've been awake for 5:30am... You probably are too... And believe me, I eat to calm my frustration"

- "what frustration?"

-"I'm hungry but I don't want to eat breakfast right now..."

- "Maya you have wanted me since Tuesday I have wanted you since I saw you".

-"Don't believe that, after the first night when we woke up in each other's arms, you ran your fingers over my lips... And then I watched you sleep on my surf... You know no one has ever been on my surf except me...and now you..."

- "oh so not since Tuesday?"

- "definitely not since Tuesday"

- "you've... You've been sleeping with Jack... Since we've known each other?"

Maya had winced, "can we not?"

- "so it's yes..."

- "so it's, I was very frustrated with wanting someone other than my boyfriend"

- "and now?"

- "and now what?"

- "who do you fancy?"
