The day felt lengthier than usual almost dragging on, I bit my lower lip as I found myself en route to detention, Malfoy and I hadn't shared a word all day, but if he was going to be such a narcissist prick I'd rather not speak to him.
I strolled down the halls which were now filled with laughter and chaos of students, the light casting over the castle was more orange now as classes had finished and the day was falling to a close.
I pushed open the door to Snape's classroom cautiously before pulling myself inside.
"Ah miss Bianco, nice of you to join us." Snape speaks out from his desk and signals me to take a seat, I purposely take a seat on the opposite side of the room from Draco because I thought it would piss him off.
It did.
I opened my potions book and began the essay I hadn't written, the tip of my quill danced and glided over the paper, as I was writing I couldn't help but feel a pair of eyes drilling into my skull.
I turn to face the back of the classroom and I'm met with a pair of piercing grey eyes, his smirk grows practically taunting me, I roll my eyes and turn back around.
I don't know what he was playing at, the comment he made still burned like a fresh wound.
"Don't roll your eyes love." A voice spoke from inside my head...
He was inside my head.
My breath hitched and I subtly turned to look at him, he hadn't moved his metallic eyes were still staring right at me.
"Fuck off Malfoy." I retort and his smirk only grows, he starts to fidget with the ring on his hand, winding it in and out of his fingers.
"Still salty about earlier I see." He replies and my blood begins to boil, still salty? He practically called me a slut in-front of everyone.
I closed my book and tucked my quill into my bag before making my way over to Snape.
I place my notes onto his desk and he dismisses me with a flick of his hand.
I turn and walk through the classroom towards the door, I breeze past Draco not bothering to acknowledge him.
There was moment of silence before Draco shot out the door behind me, rushing to catch up.
I didn't met his gaze as he fell in step with me, we shared a minute of silence before I spoke, "what are you playing at Malfoy?" I practically spit in his face.
He doesn't flinch.
"Dropped the the First name basis then?" He asks a smirk still smothered on his perfect face.
I shake my head slightly turning to look back in-front of me, we continued down the corridor towards the slytherin common room.
"I told Marcus not to fuck with you anymore." He finally spoke, his tone had changed almost...authoritatively.
I scoffed.
"Am I supposed to say thank you?" I retort not bothering to look at him this time.
The wind gets knocked out of me as I feel him slam me into the wall, his grasp held me there like a little kid, I looked up to meet his eyes but they were stone cold.
"What the Fuck Malfoy!" I yell trying to break free of his grasp.
My stomach fluttered with butterfly's as he held me still by my waist.
"Don't try that with me Lills, I'm trying to protect you!" He yells in my face, I stop struggling and stare him straight in the face.
"Trying to protect me?" I question sarcastically before adding "you called me a slut!" His mask slipped slightly and I thought for a moment I caught a hint of...
Jealousy?
He didn't respond.
"Answer me Malfoy!" I demanded my eyes beginning to swell with tears.
His grip began to dig into my waist and I could fell the burn of tearing skin.
"I was mad!...okay." He finally spoke and my eyes flicked up to his, I gave his a confused look.
"Mad?" I asked but he didn't bother responding only letting me fall down from the wall.
I thought he would walk away, another thing Draco and I have in common, but he didn't.
He stayed.
I stood up level with his and began to read his face, I expected remorse, or anger.
But he was different, it was like looking in a mirror, he couldn't control it so he shut it out.
Repress.
I knew in that moment, he wasn't being a prick, he was scared, bound to the unavoidable death, the fate we shared.
I knew in that moment, we were the same.

I swung open the door to Pansy and I's dorm and began searching though my dresses.
"Going somewhere?" Pansy asks from her desk, slightly amused at my panic.
I have her a small glance shaking my head slightly, she chuckled and returned to her book.
I got too caught up with Draco I was going to be late to Professor Slughorn's Dinner.
As I slipped on my dress and began putting on my heals, Blasie entered the dorm.
He looked down at me and smiled, "ready m'lady?" He asked laughing through his teeth.
Blasie and I had been chosen to go to the dinner along with a few other students, Granger being one of them.
Once I tied my shoes, Blasie and I headed off, down the corridors towards the party.
"Draco had a lot to say about you when he came back from detention." Blasie began and I turned to him slightly intrigued.
"Oh really?, what did he say." I asked acting as if I didn't care.
The thought of our little child romantics made me chuckle.
"Can't say." Blasie responded and I nudged him slightly, I knew he wouldn't tell me but it was worth a try.
My stomach began to knot as we approached the classroom, I latched on to Blasie's hand causing him to stop and turn to me.
"You ok?" He asked and I didn't respond giving him the only answer he needed.
In truth I wasn't to keen on the dinner.
"Lills, he can't touch you if I'm there." Blasie tried to comfort me.
Last year Goyle and I fell out, when Pansy left for a family emergency he tried to force himself upon me but Theo walked in on it.
All the boys dropped him and we haven't spoken since, only the odd glance in the hallways or class.
Repress.
"Lills if you don't want to go we can do something else?" Blasie spoke again breaking me out of my thought.
A lot had changed since last year, I was a death eater now and I could protect myself, hell I could even kill him, however I still found myself in the shoes of a little girl at the thought of him.
Blasie began dragging me away from the door, I turn to him with a confused look.
"What are you doing?" He smiles slightly laughing at my confusion, we continue walking and he playfully places a arm around me, "we're going to get dinner" he replies pulling me in closer.
"I'm not hungry." I respond and he laugh, you can watch me eat then, I giggle leaning into him as we make our way down the halls.
As weird as it sounds Blasie was always my safe space, I never had to be someone else with him, he'd seen me let my guard down, we were like siblings in a way, he knew everything...everything but he still cared, he cared more about me than I myself.
He was my home, Hogwarts was my home.
