"Avada Kedavra!'

James Potter's body collapsed into a bile of limbs, and his soul entered the underworld. His body reeked of death. Voldemort did not care. Instead, he stepped over the dead Potter and continued. Up the stairs and down the hall. To the door that shielded three innocent souls. The door was blown off its hinges. Voldemort was met with a sight that confused him. Severus had not mentioned the daughter causing her to slip his mind. But why had Severus not mentioned her? Maybe Severus did not know. Perhaps he didn't care what happened. Voldemort did not dwell on it. The girl was a minor inconvenience. One more person to kill. He turned his attention to Lily.

"Step aside Mudblood, and you can be with Severus," He offered, giving her false hope. Voldemort would never let her leave the house alive.

"Severus is a fool to think I would ever be with him," She snarled, spitting at his feet for good measure.

"Then prepare to die!" Voldemort raised his wand, "Avada Kedavra," He said without a care. Lily's body mimicked James' when she fell to the floor. Something sparked in the young girl's eyes that made her scream, an ear-piercing scream. Voldemort lifted his wand once more, hoping to silence the screaming child, "AVADA KEDAVRA!"
