Less than a year later, it was my eleventh birthday. I knew a lot would happen that day. I had difficulty sleeping the night before because of all my excitement. Sensing that I was fidgety, Calla and Strider snuggled up closer. Calla stayed by my head, and Strider curled up next to me. It reminded me of when we were on the run, and I fell asleep soon after.

I woke up the next morning to the sound of something falling. Calla was awake but still at my head, and Strider was on the ground. It looked like someone had pushed him off my bed. When I looked at Calla, she had a sort of smirk on her face. Annabeth then came running in from the bathroom. She was all dressed for the day and was holding a pile of clothes, presumably for me.

Once I was all dressed and ready, Annabeth and I made our way to the big house. A few people wished me a happy birthday on our way.

"Oh!" Annabeth exclaimed, remembering something, "You know my half-sister, Hermione Granger?" I thought back. Hermione. Oh, she was the one with frizzy brown hair and big buck teeth. I nodded.

"She's going to boarding school in the UK!" My mouth dropped open.

"Really?" I asked in disbelief. Annabeth nodded.

"Yeah! She isn't going to be back until June," Annabeth said. I was about to respond, but we had arrived in the living room of the big house.

"Happy birthday!" Everyone shouted. I stared in disbelief. Mom, Chiron, Dionysus, Seamus, Luke, and Grover were there. A smile slowly made its way onto my face. Mom pulled me into a hug.

"It's good to see you again, Ellie," She whispered.

I sat on one of the couches. Calla and Strider were in their usual spots. Calla on my shoulders and Strider in my lap. The first thing we did was open presents. Annabeth got me chocolate, books, and a hairbrush for the cats. Grover gave me a lot of new plants and my own set of reeds. Seamus handed me two water pouches that clipped onto my belt, so I wouldn't have to pull water from the air (he was the only kid beside Beth who knew about that). Luke gave me a necklace with my name engraved on one side and his on the other. He said it was a good luck charm and a reminder that we were all family. Dionysus gave me three new sheaths. Two for my arms, one for my leg. They were enchanted to have an endless supply of knives. He also gave me two new daggers and a belt to go with. The sheaths and belts were spelled to be invisible to everyone but me. I could also make them visible. Mom gave me two rings filled with poison. There was a minuscule knife that the poison traveled through. She also gave me a book titled 'A Guide to all the poisons and how to become immune.' Mom said I was going to learn how to move liquid with water in it next. The final present I got was from Chiron. It was one of only two monster-proof phones out there. He gave the other to Annabeth.

"So you can communicate," He told me. And then he pulled out an envelope. I made eye contact with Mom, and she nodded. This was it. I had received my Hogwarts letter. Luke and Grover were asked to leave the room. Annabeth knew about the wizarding world because she found one of my books and demanded an explanation, and Seamus was a wizard. Carefully, I took the letter from Chiron.

Miss. Elizabeth L. Potter

Amphitrite Cabin

Farm Road 3.141 Long Island, New York 11954

Gently tearing the seal, I found two pages inside. Both in the same emerald-green font. Annabeth read over my shoulder.

"It's actually happening," I whispered to myself. I had known for years, but holding the letter made it seem real. And then I felt blood. Someone was outside the door. I turned to look at my mom, but she was already gone. Calla and Strider smelled the person too. They were both ready to attack whoever walked through the door. Chiron wasn't worried, though.

"Come on in Minerva!" He called out. The door swung open, and an older lady walked in. The woman had her gray hair pulled into a tight bun and wore emerald green robes. I saw Seamus's mouth drop open out of the corner of my eye. The woman's eyes fell on me.

"Ah, you must be Elizabeth. We have much to discuss." She said curtly. I gestured for her to take a seat.

"I already know everything," I told her, cutting her off. Minerva smiled. I wondered if she was named after the Roman goddess.

"Good, that will make everything easier. I am a daughter of Athena. Chiron told you everything, yes? Good. Go get anything you want to bring with you shopping. We will return here after Diagon Alley," Minerva instructed. I almost stood up, but then I remembered something.

"One thing. Can I bring Calla and Strider?" I asked, gesturing to the casts. Minerva's expression softened, and Strider walked over to her.

"Usually, students are only allowed one pet," Minerva began.

"That won't work, Eliza doesn't go anywhere without both cats," Seamus chuckled. Minerva turned her head to look at him, and he instantly shut up.

"As I was saying, students are only allowed one pet but we might be able to make an exception." Minerva said, looking back at me. Remembering how Strider was connected to Rachel, I hesitated. Chiron saw.

"Liza, can I talk to you for a minute?" He asked. The two of us went into a separate room.

"Your mother told me about Strider's connection. But the bond between the mortal and Strider is gone. This is the first time in record history that it has happened. We only know this because of Eros's wife, Psyche. Long story. Somehow when the mortal gave the cat to you, Striders loyalty began to shift. We don't know any more details. But take both of the cats with you." I was stunned by this news but chose to listen to Chiron.

...

When I opened the door to my cabin, I was met with a surprise. Artemis was there. Slowly, I closed the door behind me.

"Happy birthday, Elizabeth," Artemis said, opening her arms. I ran into them and hugged her.

"What are you doing here?" I asked her. Artemis did not answer. Instead, she sighed and brought me over to my bed. We sat down, and Artemis looked at me.

"You are eleven now. Your mother made a promise to you, five years ago. When you were six. Do you remember it?" Artemis asked me. I nodded. My mom promised that I would know my prophecy.

"I'm here to tell you. Your mother is restricted from doing it herself, so I stepped up. Before I tell you, I need to ask. Elizabeth, are you sure you want to know? This could affect you in many ways." Artemis asked me seriously. I thought about it. Did I really want to know my fate before going into the wizarding world? Yes, I did. I nodded, and Artemis took a deep breath.

"A half-blood born from water and magic

Shall bring with her peace or havoc

Blessed by love to live three lives

Trained by horse and wolf combined

Thrice will war be at her door

'Til she refuses to do it once more

If with her friends she does prevail

Gone like the wind, her tale will turn stale

For she is the detail lost to gale."

Hey guys! Last chapter of part 1! Unfortunately, part two will not be out for a while. I'm very sorry.

A ton happened here. I do want to know if you all want a chapter explaining how Eliza came to be.

Yes, I know the whole Rachel thing is a bit weird. The original connection was because of the way the plot was supposed to go, but then I changed it, and the connection didn't work anymore.

If you have any questions, please comment them! Have an amazing day/night!
