Riddle awoke to the sounds of soft bird chirps outside. He rubbed his eyes and sat up on something soft.
"Hi... Silver..."
A slight shuffle came from beneath him. The giant sat up and sleepily rubbed his eyes.
"Is it morning already...?" Silver trailed off. Riddle nodded and looked up at the sunshine.
"What a night, I must say. But I feel infinitely better knowing that we saved both kingdoms."
"Me too. Wait..." Silver got up and looked outside. "Don't you have to leave today?"
Riddle suddenly shot up in panic. "AHH! You're right! My goodness, I'll be getting the scolding of a lifetime!"
"Not unless we go and talk to your Mother together," Silver stated. Riddle looked up at him and nodded.
"Please, Silver."
"Ok, then. We need to get going right now."

Silver looked down the vine and braced himself. Riddle slipped inside his vest pocket for safe keeping as the giant swung down onto the plant and began to descend. At such a rapid rate, Riddle was sure he was going to fly out.
BOOM!
Silver landed with a heavy thud. Riddle could feel his chest rattle from the sound, but he didn't feel scared. Silver was comforting, and Riddle did not fear anything about him. After all, they were together, no? Silver would surely protect the boy from any harm.
"OH MY GOODNESS!"
A familiar, screeching voice shouted from beneath him. Riddle recognized her from anywhere. My mother...
"M-Mother! It's ok; don't panic!" Riddle called.
"R-Riddle?!" Riddle's mother shouted. "Y-you get down here T-THIS INSTANT, YOUNG MAN!"
Silver winced, but reluctantly grabbed the boy and set him down. Riddle leapt off his palm and looked up at his mother.
"Y-You are in SO MUCH TROUBLE YOUNG MAN!" she screeched. Riddle covered his ears; she was almost as loud as Sebek. "W-Who IS that?! A g-giant?!"
"Mother, this is Silver. He's my... boyfriend," Riddle said, the words slowly leaving his lips. Silver gave a little wave, but his shadow towered above the two. Riddle's mother let out a shrill yell and backed away.
"First, you sneak out of my house without permission, then you climb up to some enchanted land with who KNOWS what's up there, and THEN you come back to tell me you have a boyfriend?! What else did you do?!"
"Uh..." Silver trailed off, scratching the back of his head, "we stopped my prince from taking over Earth?"
"We kind of prevented a war of the worlds from breaking out," Riddle mumbled.
"KIND OF?!" Riddle's mother yelled. "You are in SO much trouble Riddle Rosehearts! I will give you a stern talking to when we're home and-"
"Whoa, wait one moment, Ms. Rosehearts!"
Another shadow came down from above. This time, it was Lilia, who had flown down from the skies with a smile over his face. Riddle's mom shrieked again and fell on her rear end.
"A-ANOTHER GIANT?! Don't hurt me or my son!!"
Lilia laughed. "You must be the infamous "Mother" your boy is always talking about. I'm actually a parent myself; well, Silver's parent. I'm a dad! Funny how you're single and I'm single too," Lilia joked. Silver sighed from embarrassment and turned away. "Anywho, my name is Lilia Vanrouge! I come with a decree from our Prince, Malleus Draconia."
