Rosie

I was expecting the worst for this week. And that is exactly what I had. A crap week. First, my mom going to LA for a full week, second, leaving me alone with that creep at my house (although, I sort of figured this thing out) and last but not least my mom extending her business trip for a few days because of unfinished work.

Which leads me to this: lying in Lexi's bed wearing sweatpants and cocooning my self in her blanket and a fortress of pillows. The bed shifted, indicating that Lexi is here and is probably going to try make me get out of my beautifully and comfortably made nest.

"Rose, you need to get out." Lexi said as she shakes my shoulders.

Yup. Just like what I thought.

"Don't wanna." I whined to the pillow.

"Rosie Evangeline Jackson! You will get out from this bed! Weekend is here, do you know what normal people do on weekends? They hang out and have fun like normal people. Stop sulking around."

It was never a good thing when she used my full name but I will stand my ground, "Not changing my mind."

She let out an exasperated sigh. "Look, if you're afraid of getting into trouble, you don't need to. Jared hasn't called, so either he doesn't care or he is taking your note extremely well."

I scoffed.

"Right, he doesn't care." And when I didn't say anything she continued, "there's a party tonight at Noah's house, we should go. You need it. Have some fun, live like a teenager."

I stayed silent for a while and then I thought about what she said. She has a point. In the past few years all I've ever did was sulk. But it didn't change the fact that I am a teenager, so I'd better start living like one.

I lifted my head slightly, "Noah who's party?"

Lexi grinned and said, "Butler, Noah Butler."

"Why did I agree to wear your clothes?" I asked tugging at the black skirt that she made me wear. And I'm not mentioning how short it is.

"You like it. You just don't want to admit it."

I rolled my eyes at her. Three hours ago Lexi forced me to wear her clothes since she thought mine were 'not party material'. So here I am wearing her short ass of a skirt, black boots, a tank top, and fortunately I managed to persuade her on letting me wear a cropped grey sweater.

Now, we're walking down the hallway towards Noah Butler's loft where you could already hear the music and the crowds from outside his door. Until one thought popped in my head and I stopped on my tracks.

"Hey, how did you know about the party?"

"Umm.. I heard it from someone?" She said looking back at me, not meeting my eyes.

"Did you just question yourself?" I raised an eyebrow.

I guess she got the point that I know she lied.

She threw her hands up and said, "Alright, he, Noah, sort of invited me."

Now I raised both of my eyebrows in surprise, "And you agreed to go?"

She nodded

"I thought you hate that guy."

Noah Butler is the usual popular guy, captain and quarterback of the football team with unbelievable amazing good looks, a smooth charmer, and one heck of a player.

"Dislike. I dislike his attitude not his face." Lexi pointed out.

I laughed and we went in Noah's loft. The music was loud. People were cheering, dancing and some of them are already drunk.
