Chaeyoung wanted to surprise Mina with a date. The latter always had said that she wanted to go to an arcade together.

They could play games and act like kids she said. So, Chaeyoung is now taking Mina to an arcade. She thought it was just precious how Mina sounded so excited to go.

All day Mina had been waiting impatiently for their date. You couldn't blame her. This was a part of her childhood that she missed out on, and she wanted to get it back with Chaeyoung.

Now Chaeyoung had been to arcades many a time before. They were loud and had obnoxious kids in them. Still nevertheless, they were usually loads of fun.

She was excited to see Mina enjoy their date.

They arrived at the arcade hand in hand, it was dark outside already. Mina was antsy to go inside. Chaeyoung purchased an unlimited card so that they wouldn't have to keep refilling it with money.

It was a small price to pay for Mina's happiness.

They stepped into the game area and Mina went wide eyed. It was just as she imagined. She glanced around before spotting a game that she wanted to play.

She immediately walked to it, dragging Chaeyoung with her. Chaeyoung only smiled, seeing the wonder on her girlfriend's face. Mina was like a little child.

She played the game, winning of course and it dispensed her tickets. It was just like playing online games. Mina looked so pleased with herself that it eased Chaeyoung's heart.

"We should go check out the prizes. That way we know what we want to win tickets for." Chaeyoung did this everytime she went to an arcade, it was tradition.

But as they were headed to the prize booth, a guy stopped them.

"Who is this lovely lady? Care to tell me your name." He said while eyeing Mina up and down.

He looked around their age, maybe a little older. Maybe like one of those douche bag guys that harassed girls. Little did he know that she was taken. What a fool.

"No thank you. I'm not interested." Mina calmly said. She didn't even look at the man's face, eyes glued to the floor.

"Oh come on now. Don't be such a party pooper. Want to come over to my place." He asked while wiggling his eyebrows. Apparently he couldn't take no for an answer.

Chaeyoung on the other hand was silently watching this unfold. She was glaring at the man but didn't want to interfere as she knew Mina was capable of handling it herself. She would only intervene if necessary, yet she was still fuming.

"I already said no thank you, now if you would excuse us." Mina tried to walk around the man but then he suddenly held her shoulder, preventing her from going anywhere.

Oh now he had done it.

Mina looked scared, her gaze fell on Chaeyoung though and she knew she would protect her.

Chaeyoung quickly swatted the guy's hand away and stepped in between them, hiding Mina behind her back and holding her hand.

"Look buddy, I don't know who you think you are but you need to leave. She kindly told you she was not interested so just fuck off. Leave my girlfriend alone."

Chaeyoung told him off, but she wasn't yelling. Instead she was lowly talking to him, eyes ablaze, which was arguably scarier than if she yelled.

"Ha. As if. I know you're just playing hard to get but I can play that game too. Stop acting like you two are dating just to get out of a situation, i'm tired of it." He looked back at Mina, a little too confidently.

Chaeyoung sighed. How dense could he be? She knew her girlfriend was attractive but this was just unbelievable.

"Are. You. Dumb." Chaeyoung articulated her voice to get the point across. "She is not interested, she's my girlfriend." She spoke as if she was talking to a little kid who didn't understand.

He still remained there so Chaeyoung continued.

"I'm not playing around. It's either you leave us alone or you find out what happens if you don't. And trust me, I don't think you'd want to find out." Mina has never seen this side of Chaeyoung.

She was so protective and bossy. Mina had to admit that it was kind of hot...

The guy looked between the two of them for a moment. Now Chaeyoung stepped beside Mina, hand falling to her hip and kissing her cheek to get her point across.

"Whatever." The guy rolled his eyes and left the two, mumbling to himself.

Chaeyoung glared at him the whole time he walked away, waiting until he was out of sight before turning to Mina.

"Are you okay? Did he hurt you?" Chaeyoung now showed concern and lifted Mina's chin up examining her face.

"I'm okay don't worry." Mina smiled at Chaeyoung's antics.

"Hey why are you smiling. I'm being serious, are you sure you're okay?" Chaeyoung's eyebrows knitted.

"Yes Chaengie i'm fine. Just...it's so hot when you speak like that. All of a sudden the arcade doesn't sound so interesting."

Chaeyoung raised her eyebrows and looked around. Did anyone hear that? This was so unexpected but she wasn't complaining.

"A-are you sure? I know how excited you were to come here, I don't want to ruin that." Chaeyoung's face heated up now. She was shy and flustered, opposite from before when she was dealing with the man.

"Oh trust me i'll be just fine. Now I know why we never came here before." Mina seductively said, leaning in to Chaeyoung.

Chaeyoung swallowed and switched on her dominant side again.

"Then what are we waiting for. Let's stop playing around and go home." She whispered.
