michaeng - taken over (part 2)

Chaeyoung shifted in bed and opened her heavy eyelids. She dragged a hand across her face, rubbing away the sleep before completely sitting up.

She was back in the dorms on her respective bed. Chaeyoung looked around in confusion, her mind clouded. Everyone was gone, the room was empty.

She thought back for a moment trying to recall the previous events.

Oh that's right.

The performances. She groaned at the thought of them. You could say she hadn't done as well as she had hoped.

Chaeyoung was always her own biggest critic. Even when she did extremely well in other's eyes, she always pushed herself to do better.

Maybe she should practice right now. She probably should, she won't improve without hard work after all.

They had the day off but Chaeyoung couldn't let herself rest. Even despite all of Mina's constant protests to take a break.

Oh, Mina.

That reminded Chaeyoung. She had the strangest dream last night.

She kissed Mina. More like Mina kissed Chaeyoung. It brought a smile to Chaeyoung's face as she tried her best to piece together the strange dream.

The vision was crystal clear in her mind, contradicting the foggy dreams that she usually couldn't remember. She could almost feel Mina's lips too.

Chaeyoung wished it could happen in real life. She wished it wasn't just a dream but reality.

Could you imagine? Mina kissing Chaeyoung? It felt good to have these sorts of dreams. It tore Chaeyoung away from the reality of her seemingly hopeless situation with the girl.

It wasn't a first though, these dreams. Chaeyoung often dreamed of her crush, Mina. First it was a little weird but Chaeyoung learned to enjoy them.

This one felt different though. It felt real. Too real. It made Chaeyoung actually want to make a move.

Who was she kidding?

At that moment Mina walked in the room. She carried a plate of something and a bottle of water.

"Oh you're up." Mina said, proceeding to sit on the edge of Chaeyoung's mattress.

"Yeah."

"I got this for you." Mina handed the plate and water to Chaeyoung. It was food. "Everyone else ate earlier in the common room but I wanted to let you sleep in. I know how tired you were."

She gave Chaeyoung a light smile. It made the younger girl's heart do flips. Mina was so caring. Chaeyoung liked Mina so much, it made her want to scream.

"T-thanks." Chaeyoung replied while rubbing her eyes.

She straightened her legs and stretched out her body before pulling the covers off and getting out of bed.

Chaeyoung gave Mina a little peck on the top of her head, she always tried to use her friendly affection as an excuse to get close to the older girl, before heading into the bathroom.

Chaeyoung washed up and brushed her teeth before returning back to the bed. Through the whole process Mina just watched Chaeyoung patiently, intent on staying with her while she ate.

The younger girl sat down with Mina on the bed, she took a few nibbles of the food.

It tasted better. Better than usual. Maybe it was because Mina brought it to her. She's that down bad.

"So Chaengie...I was wondering." Mina hesitantly spoke, eyes gleaming with innocence as she looked at Chaeyoung.

"Hm?" Chaeyoung hummed with her mouth full.
