(Amity's POV)

I snap out of my trance and rush over to Luz.

"Luz? Are you okay?" I grab her shoulders and slightly shake her.

"Willow, go get-"

Before I can finish my sentence, her eyes slowly open and her lips turn into a small smile. "Hey Ami" She sits up slowly as she rubs her head, letting out a whisper. "Mierda"

I gently place a hand on her shoulder, "Take it easy, let's get you into the bathroom." She shakes her head, "It's okay, I'm fine. I ju-" I cut her off, "Luz, you are not fine. We find you passed out on the floor and your head is bleeding! That is not okay." Shock fills her eyes, and she runs her fingers over her forehead, wincing at the pain.

"Get in the bathroom." I hold a stern look and she obeys, slightly taken aback. Holding my hand out, I lift her up off the ground and turn towards Willow. "Can you find a first aid kit please?" She nods and runs off to find one while Luz and I head into the bathroom.

"How come you didn't say please when you asked me to get in the bathroom?"

"Because you were being stubborn." I help her sit down on the toilet as i continue, " And stubbornness doesn't get niceness." The girl rolls her eyes as I rummage through the closet. "I'm pretty sure it's called, Kindness Am." Sighing, I grab a washcloth and run it under some water. Once it's damp, I make my way over to her and dab it on her wound. "Either way. You were being stubborn, so I had to meet you where you were." She lets out a scoff, "I was not being stubborn! .... I just didn't know I was bleeding..." Her voice goes quiet on the last sentence and her body tenses. I get down on my knee and grab her hands.

"Luz, what happened?" She stays quiet for a second before opening her mouth then shutting it. Her eyes look at mine and I can tell she wants to tell me.

"If you aren't ready right now, it's okay. I'm not going to force you, but you can't keep acting like you are fine when you clearly aren't. I understand you don't want to worry me Luz, but you worry me more when you don't talk to me. All I want to do is help you and I can't do that if you don't tell me what's going on. And I don't mean just tonight. I know something bigger is going on and I just want to be there for you like you are for me!" Tears sting my eyes, and my voice gets higher as I feel my emotions rising, "We are partners Luz! We are in this together! You don't have to go through this alone anymore! That's the whole point of us being together!"

I look at her with tear-stricken eyes as she takes in what I just said, her eyes laced with concern. Closing my eyes, I fall to the floor, unable to hold back the tears any longer.

I need to tell her.

Suddenly, a pair of strong arms wrap around me, and something hits my shoulder. My eyes open to see Luz sitting there, tears falling. She gives me a genuine smile as her hand comes up and wipes my tears. "Okay Amor," her expression changes to something unreadable and pain fills her eyes, "I'll tell you; I promise." She pulls me closer, rubbing my back. "And I promise," I reach up and grab her face, my thumb running across her cheek, "I'll tell you everything too." She smiles and leans her forehead against mine. "Sounds like a date." We both let out small giggles. Pulling away, she brushes my hair from my face as I take in her features. "Sounds more like a therapy session" She lets out a laugh and nods. "It does, doesn't it?"

She grabs onto the counter and pulls herself up. Turning to me, she holds out a hand and I take it. Before I can look to see where Willow is, Luz pulls me into a hug, causing me to turn bright red. I wrap my arms around her, hugging her closer to me. We stay like that for a few seconds just taking in each other. I notice how it seems like we fit perfectly together. I focus on how she tightens her grip slightly and how she still smells like her pine cologne. My mind stays lost until the door opens, causing us both to look. Willow looks up from the kit in her hands and smiles softly, "I'll leave this here and let you guys talk." Luz nods and I send her a mental thank you as she heads back to her room.
