I knocked on Octavio's door, my heart racing with anticipation.

"Come in! Ah Ms Ida, to what do I owe the pleasure?"

"Sir, I do believe that I have finished construction on the first Flooder."

"Wow, that truly was fast. I would like to see this machine, lead the way!"

My heart continued to race, this was a feeling I couldn't compare to anything else. What if he hated the design? What would happen to me? Would I be stripped of my new title? I creaked open the workshop door and held it open for Octavio.

"It's truly a sight to behold. The blueprint has come to life!"

"I'm glad you approve of it sir."

"Ms Ida, you have truly done a great service for your fellow soldiers. I order that the plans be sent to the factory this instant!"

"As you wish."

As Octavio left the workshop and began the trek home to his quarters, I dropped to ground gasping for air. Maybe I really did work myself up over nothing? Still, if River was right I was truly grateful that I didn't have to witness Octavio's wrath. As much as I honour him, I have to admit that he does strike fear into the hearts of his army.
