Mom and Chris just left to go talk in the hall. I barely lifted my head to respond when my mom told me they were leaving. Chris wouldn't let anything happen to us here so I'm fine alone. Or with this kid. I continue my book when I hear sobbing.
I look over at the boy and he is shaking and crying staring at the door. "Hey, are you alright?" I ask feeling kinda dumb. He's obviously not alright. "He said he would stay," He said looking over at me. I immediately felt bad. He had tears streaming down his face and his whole body was shaking like a leaf. "Would it make you feel better If I sat with you?" I ask immediately regretting it. I hate being touched and from what I have seen he's clingy. "Yes please," He whispered moving over on the bed slightly.
