Lloyd and I

After the long two days on that mission with the Grundal ordeal and Lloyd and I being forced to grow up faster than expected, we're all just exhausted and decide to call it a night after making it back to the Bounty. Just as we're about to head below Deck, Cole stops walking and looks at everyone leaving us confused. "Uh wait guys..."

Jay, though, frustrated that he can't go to sleep already, glares at Cole with a deadly stare. "Please, tell me what's so important that we need to stop and stop us from sleeping! We've been up all for so long that I am too tired to care anymore!"

"I-I know! But you all do realize that now that Lloyd and Y/n are older, what are we gonna do? They don't exactly uh... well they aren't kids anymore. I want to sleep too but they're gonna need something to sleep in at least and longer blankets. We can worry about the bigger things tomorrow."

All of our eyes widen in realization at that. I look at him with tired but surprised eyes. "Huh... I didn't even realize that... Guess I'm more tired than I realized..."

Sensei Wu strokes his beard for a moment, deep in thought before looking at Kai and Nya. "Kai, you will let my nephew borrow your pajama, and Nya, you will let Y/n borrow yours. Tonight will be the last night you sleep in my room Lloyd and then we'll move your bed into the ninjas' room. Tomorrow will be a day off so you both can adjust to your new bodies and get new clothes as well."

We all nod and bow to him, knowing Sensei is right. Tomorrow will be officially the start of our new lives. "Yes, Sensei."

As we stand straight back up again, Sensei walks below Deck as Nya grabs my arm. "Let's get you some clothes. I'm exhausted and well we need some sleep after everything we just went through.

I simply give her a small nod as she takes me away. After everything we just went through, I'm too exhausted to care anymore. I simply just wish to get some sleep and wonder if Lloyd meant that kiss.

As I disappear below Deck, a certain blonde watches me with love-filled eyes as he tries to make sense of his growing emotions.

Jay notices Lloyd's staring before smiling at him and wrapping his arm around his neck. "So when were you gonna tell us you liked her kid?"

Lloyd's face becomes flushed red and flustered, trying to figure out a way to muster up some words. "I-I-I-"

That's when the rest of the ninja quartet finally catches wind of what's going on between the two and quickly surrounds him, asking him a bunch of questions. This simply leaves the boy even more flustered than before. Kai immediately starts giving him advice on how he can use his newfound age to try to win the girl over while Cole simply tries to tell him what advice Kai is giving isn't the best.

Zane manages to stop the two's questions with his own which stops everyone. "Have you told her yet?"

The quartet simply stops and looks at him, anticipating the answer.

Lloyd looks down as he scratches the back of his head. "W-Well not exactly... But! I uh... kissed her before we got turned older..."

"What?!"

Jay simply collapses onto the floor in shock, and Zane just stares at Lloyd trying to process what Lloyd said. Cole is just screaming and Kai... is shaking the poor boy violently, in just complete proudness and anger about the fact he kissed Y/n.

"You kissed my baby sister!"

Lloyd simply lets it happen, too tired to stop it.

Luckily for everyone, Zane manages to stop Kai and looks at Lloyd. "Are you sure that you do like her?"

This surprises the blonde but gives him a small nod.

Kai, after calming down, simply pats his back. "Look kid, I know you are going through so much right now especially considering you're like Nya's age now but... take your time. You shouldn't be in a rush to figure out everything. You got time. And we're here for you. If you really do like her, good for you, and if you don't... just take time to figure it out."
