Darkblade: What a Knightmare

"Scarlet Lady and Chat Noir saved Paris again." Camellia looks up from her journal to the clock. "Akumas attacks are getting earlier and earlier, huh Pluuma? I feel bad for not helping them out as much but we all agreed on the schedule..." Pluuma nodded and comforted their master while she used a small crayon to scribble on a sheet of paper.

"Okay Pluuma, lets head to school. Don't want to be late. I just remembered that they are holding class elections tomorrow, too." She gathered her journal, pencil case and Pluuma. Before Camellia could turn off the tv, another report appeared.

"Mister Bourgeois was re-elected as Mayor of Paris for the 4th term. Here, we see him with his daughter." Nadia is heard from her tv monitor. "Chloe always wins class elections... She never does anything to help out her classmates, she just uses her power to cancel events..." Camellia mumbled to herself, turning off the tv.

"You should run." Pluuma's golden head popped out of her side bag. Camellia laughs. "If someone suggests me then I will give it some thought but until then, my little friend, I will stay silent."

Camellia walked to school calmly. She even ran into Adrien and Nino on the steps. Alya was waiting nearby and Camellia pointed to the bakery where a girl could be seen running around her room through the windows.

The trio had made it the classroom where Miss Bustier was waiting to make her announcements. After everyone was seated, she started, "Chloe is running for class representative. Sabrina will be her deputy. Any other candidates?"

Camellia looked around the room. Most avoided her gaze while Kim looked determined but had a scared look when Chloe glared at him. "Miss Bustier! Camellia should run." Alya could be heard from the front.

"Yeah, she is so responsible and put together. I wouldn't be able to finish my part of the comic without her." Nathaniel speaks up. Camellia shrugs with a smile at Miss Bustier. "Alright, but who would be your deputy, Camellia?"

"I would say Marinette but no amount of planning could get that girl to school on time," She looked at Kim once again. Kim was a strong-willed guy and she could rely on him any time of day. Kim looked at Chloe one more time but Camellia's soft gaze was enough to smoke out his fears.

"I will be her deputy, Miss." Everyone was impressed and Miss Bustier smiled. "That's wonderful. Develop your campaign and have a speech ready for tomorrow when we vote."

At lunch, her classmates were asking her about changes to be made. Nino wanted to listen to music in the Library. Rose wanted more comfortable chairs and Juleka wanted something that Camellia would have to ask about later, whatever that meant.

After everyone had left her alone, Kim was finally able to speak with her. "Do you really trust me to be your deputy? I mean, I'm not as smart as Adrien or creative like Nathaniel-"

"Kim. You're someone I know I can count on when I need it. You have been that way ever since we met in maternelle. I was shorter than everyone else and I tended to get picked on a lot for my "weird lunches" but you were there." Kim remembered those times back in kindergarten.

"You were like my knight in shinning armour. I don't show it but I rely on you a lot, Kim." She admitted to Kim. It was true. He was there to fight off her bullies. Kim and Camellia had tried to date once back in collège but after a month, they agreed to just stay friends.
