Episode 4: Copycat

Copycat: You Can Never Be Replaced, Chat Noir

Camellia and Nathaniel walked to the statue unveiling. Nathaniel wanted to get sketches of it so that he could include it in upcoming comic episodes. Camellia and Nathaniel waited for the two heroes to arrive.

Miracle Flame had already excused herself from the statue unveiling by claiming that she had a priar event that she could not get out of. So, Theo was waiting for Scarlet Lady and Chat Noir to show up. The crowd cheered when Chat Noir showed up. He waved to his fans and to Alya who was taking pictures for her Ladyblog.

"Excuse me Chat Noir, but Scarlet Lady's not here. I know that Miracle Flame couldn't make it but I had hoped that Scarlet Lady would be able to make it..." Theo questioned to black-clad hero. Camellia almost felt bad but she was asked by Nathaniel to come with him before she even heard about the unveiling officially.

"Don't worry. She'll be here soon. I can handle it for now. I'm the one in charge anyway." Chat moved into a more relaxed position and focused on Theo. Camellia snickered at his comment gaining his attention, and a wink from the cat-themed hero.

"I wanted to ask her to sign this photo..." From where Camellia was standing, she could see that it was a news clipping of Scarlet using her yo-yo to fly through the city at night. It was a really good picture of Scarlet.

No one seemed to be able to get good pictures of Chat or Miracle, one because Chat was so sporadic during fights and moved around so much and Miracle flew so fast that she appeared as a blur. Her large flame wings also blew out any resolution cameras shot in.

"She's so brave... and smart.. The way she saves everyone." The way Theo caressed the picture made him appear somewhat creepy but the way he spoke about Scarlet, he had clearly fallen for the red suited heroine. His confession was interrupted by Mayor Bourgeois.

"Perhaps we should commence. It might bring her here faster." Theo begged for one more minute. His admiration for her is crossing into desperate zone. Poor Theo.

"It's only proper for Paris to pay homage to those who protect us. Scarlet Lady, Chat Noir and Miracle Flame." The curtain was pulled to reveal the statue. Chat was posed at the bottom with a bent leg in front and one stretched behind him. In between his legs, his hand rested on the ground to hold himself up.

Above him Scarlet was in the same pose as the news clipping. Behind Scarlet but facing a different direction was Miracle Flame. Her wings were small and she posed with her bow and arrow at the ready. The statue was a bronzy gold colour.

Alya could be heard asking for photos while Chat waved in front of the statue. Theo looked at the Scarlet part of the statue in disappointment. Camellia knew that Scarlet would most likely focus on patrol rather than a statue but it was sad to see.

Camellia excused herself from Nathaniel, as he was furiously sketching away and she didn't want to interrupt him. Camellia was sitting on a park bench and was staring at Miracle Flame when a certain cat theme hero approached her.

"Howdy Miss Dupain-Cheng." He said, leaning on his staff as support. She eyed him suspiciously. "How do you know my name, Mister Cat?" He gave her a smirk and she could see little fangs poking into his bottom lip.

"I have to say. I am a big fan of that little comic you write, besides how could I forget the girl giving me a run for my money with her jokes." Camellia smiled. Chat Noir read her web comic. Chat Noir reads her web comic.
