Little life update. Soooo it's been a while. Not sorry for being gone I've actually been living my life lol. I graduated high school and went to an anime convention. Now I'll be learning how to drive. I'm a lot healthier mentally than I was when I started this book a few years ago not to mention that I'm 1 year clean. I won't be busy for a while so I'm back to updating. Don't get your hopes up too much cause it'll still be slow.
Now the long-awaited chapter I've been itching to write since I started the book. Back to new updates to the book instead of old chapters. Btw it's long just to make up for the few months I've deprived y'all.
3RD POV
It was finally the day that the six children would carry out their plan to inspect the wall that prevents them from their escape. All the children were up and running around while the adults were nowhere to be seen. M/n, Don, and Gilda were in charge of making breakfast today while Emma, Norman, and Ray were setting the table. While setting the table out of the corner of his eye Ray saw Sister Krone peaking in the room, he saw the woman's mouth move but heard no words come out.
Sister Krone left to go upstairs which was made quite obvious because of her heavy footsteps and made her way to the shared bedroom that Ray sleeps in, humming the whole time and smiling sinisterly. She stood in front of the door and looked around to make sure that no one was there to see her. After making sure everything was clear she opened the door and immediately went to Ray's drawer looking through it to find something. That something being what she thinks could be a device to break the trackers. The brown-skinned woman couldn't find anything in the drawer so she went to his bed.
Lifting the pillow she found nothing so she removed the blanket that once neatly covered the bed. After that, she removed the sheets and after finding nothing she opted to look underneath the bed. Her face twisted into a look of pure frustration as she once again found nothing. Phil who was wandering around the halls for seemingly no reason went right past the open door and caught a glimpse of Krone but walked right past it.
The boy right after walking past the door paused thinking that it was somewhat strange so Phil went back. "What are you doing?" The small boy asked with a smile on his face. Krone jumped in surprise and quickly turned to face Phil who was grinning. Krone calmed down seeing it was just a small child and gave him a small smile of her own.
"I'm cleaning the floors." Krones's voice was quiet as she didn't want anyone else to hear her since she did look quite suspicious at the moment.
Phil's mouth closed but still adorned a small smile after uttering an 'oh'. The boy left making his way down the stairs and as soon as Krone was sure Phil was out of earshot she let out a sigh and went back to searching. The woman pushed Ray's bed over and made her way over to his drawer which she also moved. Looking behind it she found a folded sheet of paper. She picked it up and sat on the bed she just took apart as she unfolded the piece of paper.
