TALES OF THE VALENTINES

I HAVE PUBLISHED THE OTHER CHAPTER BUT THEN I REMEMBERED I GOTTA SAY WHAT HAPPENED AFTERWARDS BECAUSE OH BOY SO MANY CONFESSIONS HERE

i didn't write it all in the same chapter cause i decided i'm gonna write this in normal writing, no usernames, actual narrative writing. Because couples will be made, and this deserves lack of crack :3

and also very sorry this took long, i had a lot of things to do but now im in vacation yayy

and sorry for the chapter being absolute shit. i can't write romance for the life of me.

Story 1: Mukuro and Sayaka:

A lot of people stayed at the restaurant after the game was over to eat and discuss the letters (Well, they didn't. cause most of the people that stayed behind hadn't written or recieved letters). Sayaka stayed for a while too to drink some water after reading all that aloud.

"Hey, Mukuro, I'm heading back to the cottage. Are you gonna stay here?" Mukuro got up from the table. "Nah, i'm coming with you. I don't wanna risk being rickrolled by Hiro again." She deadpanned. The two of them went down the stairs and left the hotel.

"By the way, are your vocal chords ok? You read Kyoko's letter out loud-" Mukuro asked, a little concerened (and confused as to how she even maganed to read it). Sayaka giggled. "Yeah, that was a nightmare. But i'm fine, the water helped." Sayaka got her key to enter the cottage. When she opened the door, she saw something on top of her bed.

She walked towards it to grab it. It was a black rose. "Wha- this wasn't here before we left for the letter game, right?" She asked, turning towards Mukuro. "Hm, i don't think so. At least i didn't see it." The soldier said, trying her best to not look Sayaka directly in the eyes. She didn't notice, and just brushed her finger against flower's petals.

"Aren't we the only ones with the keys to enter the cottage, though? How would anyone have-" She paused. It was true, anyone couldn't enter. But someone with the key could. She turned to Mukuro, who was now visibly blushing. "You wrote that letter?" Mukuro nodded.

"Come to think about it, you were the one that helped me come up with the game idea." Sayaka remembered, mentally questioning how she didn't realize sooner. "Sorry, you must be really nervous right now, but don't worry. You don't need to say anything unless you've calmed down, ok?" the soldier fidgeted with her necktie, clearly anxious. Sayaka tried to speak calmly to soothe her. "I'm a bit surprised. I had no idea you liked me back." At those words, Mukuro widened her eyes and managed to look the idol in the eyes.

She smiled. "Your letter was so sweet! I've been wanting to talk to you about this, but i was always too nervous, or unsure of wether you'd reciprocate my feelings or not." Mukuro blinked a few times, processing Sayaka's words. "Are you alright?" "I.. had no idea i'd get this far. I don't know what to do now-" Sayaka giggled. "Do you want to just sit down and talk, or just things we'd normally do? Maybe it'll help you think better" Mukuro took a deep breath and sat down beside Sayaka. And they chatted. About the random things they usually did. They talked about the plane ride again, laughing at the zero gravity situation, they talked about the other letters, and then they didn't talk. Mukuro rested her head on Sayaka's shoulder. Her anxiety wasn't there anymore.

Story 2: Mikan and Ibuki.

In the restaurant, some people (cough, kokichi and hina, cough) started talking about doing a driking game, except with pepper sauces. One of the people who agreed was Ibuki, unsurprisingly. Some people (Mikan, Kirumi and Sonia) only stayed to make sure nothing terrible would happen. Long story short, things didn't go terrible but they didn't go well either.

Mikan had to basically drag Ibuki out of the hotel. "Awww we were just getting to the fun part-" "If you consider kokichi spitting out fire fun, then yeah." Mikan deadpanned. "You're no fun.." Ibuki mumbled jokingly, as she basically threw herself onto the bed.
