February 14th,
At a nursing home A woman picked up flowers and a box of 25% less sugar chocolates. The woman was a nurse and was heading towards a room were an old lady resided. She opened the door before smiling and greeting the old woman giving her the gifts. They were from her children and grandchildren and it was her job to deliver the gifts to the woman and the other patients at the nursery home. Now some might say that it was sad to spend Valentine's Day in a nursery home at work but for the nurse just the thought of seeing someone smile brought joy to her day and was all the Valentine's Day present she needed.

Philia: The love of friends-
February 14th,
A kindergarten classroom was alive with all sorts of buzz. The kids, 32 in all, raced around to give each other little cards and candy they either made or bought with the help of their parents the night before. After that they would eat and read (to the best of their abilities) their own share.
There was a Valentine's Day dance in the highschool and two friends could be heard laughing as they twirled and spun each other around to the beat of the music.

Eros: Romantic love, the love of romance-
February 14th,
In one apartment building a couple exchange gifts and the taller of the two, though not by much, bent down to plant a kiss on their lover's lips. A few blocks down a restaurant was packed with all kinds of lovers on dates.
Further along a married couple slow danced in their living room to their song, the one they'd picked out for their wedding and somewhere else way later in the day, so late that you would call it night, an old couple sat on a balcony holding hands and silently watching the stars because sometimes, when you've known a person long enough, words aren't needed to express what you want or need to say.

Storge: The unconditional love of family-
February 14th,
Earlier that day a mother was in a delivery room. It was her first child and she was in so much pain, she knew it would be painful but she never imagined it would be this painful. She would be lying if she said she didn't cuss out the poor doctors and nurses who were just trying to do their jobs but damn was she in pain.
Eventually after hours of dilating and pushing she heard a loud cry. Her daughter. She wanted desperately to hold her but the doctors had to clean her up first. When she finally got to hold her she burst into tears. She was so beautiful. Her daughter let out a tiny noise and she cooed in response. This was the perfect Valentine's Day present. If necessary she new now that she would give birth all over again, even if it means going through the pain, to bring her sweet little baby girl into this world.
