Ilope sat on the couch in his living room his feet resting on the table. He kept his expression cool and calm as the door opened and in stepped Salina and Samuel.

While Ilope had no external reaction, internally he was seething. He absolutely detested both of them. Samuel might be related to him by blood but that meant nothing to Ilope.

"I'll cut to the chase," Salina said, "What's going to happen?"

Ilope laughed. A deranged laugh. He crossed and uncrossed his legs before speaking. "If you had any amount of intelligence in that puny brain of yours you'd realize that it doesn't work like that."

"Are you questioning me?" She asked growing annoyed.

"No. I'm just stating a fact. It's not my fault you're too much of an idiot to understand." Ilope replied.

"Ilope, let's not do this today." Samuel said with a sigh.

"Or what Samuel. Or should I call you Uncle Samuel? Pfft. Don't make me laugh. You always follow behind Salina and do whatever she says. You never stand up for yourself. Infact, you threw the rest of the family under the bus for what? Some power? A wife? You're pathetic." Ilope said condescendingly.

"I did what I had to protect my loved ones! But you're just like your father! You both could never see the world realistically and never listened to what I had to say!" Samuel hissed out in anger.

"Don't you dare fucking mention my father!" Ilope screamed with tears in his eyes standing up and finally loosing his composure, "He was twice the man you'll ever fucking be!"

Salina looked ready to say something but Samuel held her back. Ilope smirked as a vision finally appeared. That smirk slowly turned into a manical laugh.

"What's so funny?" Salina asked.

Ilope pointed at his supposed "Uncle" before sharing his vision. "You're going to die one day. And it's going to be due to one of your own descendants. Oh how comedical it'll all be." He said still laughing.

Salina broke free from Samuel's grasp and pinned Ilope to the wall cutting off his oxygen supply. "The fuck do you mean by that? If you even think about trying to kill my husband I'll—" she was interrupted by Samuel saying her name.

Ilope coughed a bit before responding. "Don't be mad at me, I'm just the messager. And you know the old saying, 'don't shoot the messager. ' "

Salina was about to say something but then Samuel said quietly "Salina, let him go. He's the only piece of Dylan that I have left." causing her to let go of Ilope.

Ilope grit his teeth. "Don't you dare fucking talk about my father that way when you were the one who—" Samuel interrupted him by saying "Let's go." to Salina.

Ilope watched in anger as the two left his house. As the pair walked out on the streets Salina turned to her husband and rested a hand on his shoulder for comfort. "Are you alright?" She asked.

"I'm fine." He said though his tone didn't quite match his words.

"Are you sure?" She asked once again.

"Yeah. Yeah I'm sure. I'm fine."
