“This should be interesting,” Esdeath mused, a predatory grin creeping across her face. "
Artoria gave her an even look, her voice firm. “Don’t let your guard down. Carmilla and d’Eon are formidable opponents.”
As she finished, Carmilla’s mocking laughter rang out across the field. “My, how precious. But even the King of Knights has little hope with a partner so… bloodthirsty.”
Esdeath's smile only grew wider. “I don’t need hope, just power.”
With a swift command, Artoria charged, her movements precise as she swung Excalibur at Carmilla. The Vampire Countess met her with a chilling smile, parrying the strike with a clawed hand wreathed in dark mist. The impact sent waves rippling around them, but neither fighter budged an inch. Carmilla’s eyes sparkled with malicious delight.
"Oh, how I do enjoy the struggle,” she purred, launching into a series of swift attacks that forced Artoria to dodge and counter. Each strike was calculated to test the limits of her opponent’s resolve.
Meanwhile, Esdeath turned her gaze on d’Eon, who had adopted a defensive stance, eyes watchful, movements graceful and fluid. “I don’t enjoy playing with my enemies for long,” Esdeath remarked casually, lifting her hand as an icy aura began to gather around her. “But I think I’ll make an exception for you.”
D’Eon dodged as sharp spears of ice erupted from the ground, each one narrowly missing them. They grinned, maintaining their agility, clearly aiming to exhaust Esdeath with their evasive tactics.
“I see you’re all about brute force,” d’Eon remarked, smoothly deflecting another icy strike. “But power isn’t everything.”
Esdeath narrowed her eyes, smirking. “We’ll see how long you last. Baal!" She takes on the appearance of a dragon and gets two horns and a jewel on her forehead and an elaborate necklace along with blue scale-like armor over parts of his body and a long tail.

Without further words, d’Eon lunged forward, their rapier flashing with incredible speed and precision. Esdeath deflected each thrust with deft movements, her calm confidence never wavering. To an outsider, it looked like a choreographed dance, each fighter moving with fluid grace.
Artoria and Carmilla’s clash was reaching a fever pitch. Carmilla’s misty claws lashed out, aiming for any weak spots, while Artoria defended with unmatched precision. With a surge of energy, Artoria unleashed a burst of power, momentarily driving Carmilla back.
Seizing the moment, she called out, “Esdeath, now!”
"Let me show you, my power." Esdeath summons lightning from his sword to strike the opponent, this magic is capable of destroying an entire chain of mountains in one strike. "Bararāku: Lightning!"
