I was taken aback when I felt someone hug and hushed tones on me. I looked up and it was her. The person I never expected.
"Ms irene?!?" I slowly lift my weary head to looked up and hindi nga ako nagkakamali sya nga.
"Maam ano pong ginagawa nyo dito, diba po nasa loob po kayo sa cake blowing ni ms sheehan" i asked her as i tried to stop my tears from flowing
She smiled at me bitterly and wiped my tears "oh i was looking for you it's your birthday kasi and i haven't greeted you pa. Happy birthday mahal ko"
I was totally kabogabol shookt to what she just said, 'mahal' hanudaw? Lasing naba to at akala nya si sheehan ako
"Ms hindi po ako si sheehan hehe and salamat po" i sweetly said as i distant myself in her
" this really is a special day for you tara, 21 years old and i am so proud of you" she hugged me tightly and cried.
Sa totoo lang naguguluhan ako sa mga sinabi ni ms irene. Una sa lahat paano niya alam na 21 na ako pianresearch niya ba buhay ko and bakit umiiyak sya. Nagaaway ba sila ni sir? aish whatever it may be i tapped ms irene's back just to comfort her kahit ang weird for me. Imagine mo naman kasi umiyak ang boss mo sayo na tita pa ng jowa mo.
"Salamat po mam hali kana po pasok na ho tayo sa loob baka hinahanap kana nila" i said to her as i held her hands. She just nodded and I assisted her in walking back to the ballroom. Pambihira moment ko yun e, ninakawan pa ako.
"Oh where have you been love?" Simon asked us. Hinahanap nya ata ako.
"Sa garden lang mahal ko nagpapalamig" i replied to him and smirked.
His eyes got wide and look at me shockley "teka ulitin mo nga yung sinabi mo atara " he asked again excitingly
"Sabi ko galing kami sa garden" i teased him. Ofc alam ko naman na yung mahal ko yung hinahanap niya pero gusto ko lang syang pagtripan bakit ba.
"Hindi yung isa kasii. Sige na love pleaseee ulitin mo"
She pouted like a child kaya natawa ako ng bahagya
"Aysus ang mahal ko nagpapakyot pero bagay naman kaya pagbigyan" i remarked the word mahal ko kaya nakikiliti ito at talon ng talon.
"Does that mean yes? tayo na? Like official na tayo? Magpapakasal na tayo?"
Ito naman ang oa parang nanalo ng lotto. I looked at ms irene whos looking at me deeply, may problema ba to aakin? Ipaphaunting ba ako nito?
" kalma kalmaa simon okay, hindi pa nga tayo legal, pakasal na agad tapos wala ka pang proposal ring sakin, panong naging mag official na yun?"
I said it to him as a joke but surprisingly kinuha nya ang singsing sa loob ng suit nito at lumuhod sa harap ko na sya namanh kinagulat naming dalawa ni ms irene.
"S-si ano to?" i cried out of joy or nervousness i guess?!
"Atara keller ikaw lang ang nagiisang babae na nagpagawa sa akin ng ganito, ikaw lang din ang nag iisang babae na pinakilala ko sa mga magulang ko at mga kapatid ko. You trusted me to take care of your heart. Mahal na mahal kita at alam ng diyos nyan. Atara, the moment I first saw you, I saw someone whom I will call my wife and the mother of my children. Atara keller will you accept me as your lawfully wedded husband?"
He speeched with a sparkling eyes. Natawa naman ako sa mga ibang jokes nya, corny pero sive na nga nakakatawa na lang gwapo e.
"Yes yes si, handa akong magpakasal sayo sa anong oras at sa saan mang simbahan" i lift him up at pinasok nya ang singsing sa aking daliri and kissed me passionately "ikaw at tanging ikaw lang atara ko" he whispered. I smiled at him and wiped his escaped tears.
We just had our moment when we suddenly heard a clap. It was his family and my friends.
"Yes first apo is coming" Simon's father cheered as he approached us to congratulate
"alagaan mo si tara si ha.malilintikan ka sa akin" pabalang na sabi ng papa nya. He just scratch his head and held me hands to kissed the back of it.
Everyone were happy of the proposal na madali ni simon. Biruin mo hindi kami official na mag jowa pero upgrade agad as fiance. But there is something wrong e, masaya ang lahat except for ms irene and sir greggy. Kaya ba umiyak si ms irene sakin that time?

side note. sanaol pagkatapos maging official magjowa, kasalan agad. Ang fast thinker mo agad Si ah, ganyan ba kaganda si Atara para pakasalan agad? hahahaha
