Tears clouded her vision as she scurried to her room,
ideas plaguing her mind
as she ran her hands along her figure with gloom,
memorizing the imperfections she despised.
From here on,
every choice she made would be calculated
leaving no time to mourn,
as she'd only look back when her plan was completed.
Hours of working out,
counting calories
excuses as to why she couldn't go out,
her plan turning into realities.
No more will she search for a fairytale,
but instead find approval through the number on the scale.
