We met with the sound of your music tune
And my dancing, resembling a buffoon
In that second-floor classroom, start of June
With two small smiles, friendship started to bloom
You had a love for making pretty art
And I loved taking pictures of flowers
But to something foreign, we gave a start
Writing grand stories and dreaming for hours
We both grew skills, and grew up together
We both disagree sometimes, it's normal
But we know our bond won't ever sever
And that with each other, nothing's formal
All we know is that it started that day,
With us two strangers, in Grade Seven - Rei
