"Do widzenia" means "goodbye" in Polish.
"Dobranoc" means "goodnight" and is used when saying goodbye for the night.
"Jak się masz?" means "how are you?" in Polish. Other ways to ask this question include "Co słychać?" and "co u ciebie?" while "Co tam?" means "what's up?" and "Jak leci?" means "How is it going?" When responding to these questions,
"Dobrze" means "good," "świetnie" means "great," "nieżle" means "not bad," "Bardzo dobrze" means "very good," "źle" means "bad," "tak sobie" means "so so," and "Fatalnie" means "really bad."
"A ty?" or "A u ciebie?" means "And you?" or "What about you?" It is a common response to the question "Jak się masz?"
"Dziękuję" means "thank you" in Polish.
"Dzięki" is a more casual way of saying "thank you."
"Proszę" means "please" and is used when making a request or offering something to someone.
"Przepraszam" means "sorry" in Polish and is used when apologizing.
"Przepraszam, gdzie jest...?" means "Excuse me, where is...?" It is a useful phrase to know when asking for directions.
"Jak masz na imię?" means "What is your name?" in Polish.
"Miło mi cię poznać" or "Miło mi" means "Nice to meet you" in Polish.
