Eclipse had just started to fall as they arrived back to home base, Azula still asleep in Neytiri's arms. "Do you think your mother will be ok with us caring for the child, even if we don't know where he came from?" Jake whispered. "I think she will be ok; she knows that I can not give up a child." Neytiri answered.

Neytiri and her mate got into the hammock as she sat Azula on her stomach, trying not to wake him. "Ma Jake I have something to tell you." Neytiri whispered trying not to wake the child. Jake mumbled. "Your going to have a son." Neytiri looked up at her mate. "Yeah, I already do. He's right here." Neytiri couldn't help but roll her eyes. "No, Ma Jake that's not what I meant." She smiled at the sight of her mate's realization. "Wait our son?" Jake pointed between him and his mate.

Neytiri nodded as she got pulled into her mate's embrace. "Oh my gosh, I'm going to be a dad!" Jake excitedly whispered into his mate's neck. Neytiri placed her free hand on her mate's head and laughed at the sight of Jake being so excited.

Jake removed his head from his mate and looked down to where the little boy was sleeping. "Well I guess I'm going to be a dad of two now." As he placed his hand on the boy's back. He then looked back up at his mate and cupped her cheek. "I love you so much." he said as he gave her a peck on the lips.

Neytiri rested her head on her mate's chest and couldn't help but smile. "I love you, ma Jake" she whispered as she dozed off.

Jake rested his hand back on the boy's back and his other arm that was now around his mate. He was so happy, nothing could ruin the feeling he had.

It took him awhile to finally rest after all the excitement. He couldn't help but wonder what him and his mate's son would look like. Would it look like Neytiri or him. He hoped it would look like him but whatever the outcome was he wouldn't care just as long as their son is healthy, that was all he cared about. He finally dozed off with giving a final peck on his mate's forehead.

I know that this probably isn't the way they find out their having a baby but I couldn't think of anything else and I wrote this before I really got into the avatar fandom and I rlly don't feel like rewriting it completely so here y'all go.

The next chapter will be based in Atwow so big time jump.
