(This is a long chapter so buckle up)

(Narrator POV)

The door to the dungeons swung open and an eerie noise echoed through the halls.
The group slowly stepped in the corridor, looking around at the moss covered walls, dripping with who knows what substance.

Percy led the group through the maze-like passages. 'Come on, we need to speed up, who knows what the Briarwoods are doing right now.'

'Greetings, Percival.' a voice from the darkness of a prison cells said.
Vex turned to the cage, 'Are you friend or foe?'
'Foe, to the Briarwoods at least. Could you perhaps, let me out? I have valuable information that you may want.'

Vex nodded at her brother who then knelt forward and picked at the lock on her cell.
'The only freedom I'm giving you is death.' Percy spoke menacingly, black smoke emerging from his body.

Everyone but Cassandra and Vax stepped back.
'Percy No! I've been with the Briarwoods for so long and I haven't been able to get any information on their plans, she may be of use to us.'

He lowered his gun and sighed.
'Alright, she can come, but one wrong move and I'll shoot.'

The ever-growing crowd went further up the passage, trying to avoid traps. This was inevitably much harder with Grog around. He was only trying to help, but he had nearly gotten everyone's heads chopped off more than once.

Strange sounds were coming from up ahead, the sounds of scraping and growling echoing on the stone walls.

'Did Delilah ressurect all the dead?' Pike Asked hurriedly.
Reanimated bodies of the dead De Rolo ancestors charged at them.
'Uncle Nathaniel?!' Cassandra exclaimed

Y/N and Keyleth stood back to back, hitting the corpses as they approached. Soon, all were gone and the group could progress to the next area.

They all got up to the next door and
stood for a second.

'Mind giving this a shove big man?'
'Oh I'm sorry, could you say that again?' Grog said suspiciously.
'Oh God's, here we go. Oh, Grog, you are so mighty and I am so weak. How could little old me survive without you.'
Y/N, Keyleth and Scanlan were in hysterics at this, even Percy chuckled a bit.
'Now that's more like it.' Grog said smugly, opening the door.

Everyone piled into the large room, standing directly in the middle. Percy looked down at his gun and his face paled.

'Cassandra!' He shouted, turning back to look at Cassandra standing behind a lever outside of the room.
She pulled the lever and the door started closing.

Like a flash of lighting, Vax sped up to the door and slipped underneath it. Percy ran after him, looking through the glass of the door. The rest of the group joined them, gazing upon the site at the other side.
'Brother!' Vex screamed.

Vax held a dagger out to Cassandra but hesitated to stab her.
'Percy, kindly tell your sister to stop being dramatic!'

Two figures emerged from the shadows.
'Cassandra, you have done well.'
Sylas and Delilah. Vax turned to look at them, his eyes glowed as he stepped over to them.
'Vax!' Y/N and Vex shouted in unison.

The four of them left and the lot left in the room turned around. A huge pipe was leaking acid into the room.
