Tae Rin-Cha
"Ah, hey there! You must be Hunter Tae Rin-Cha, right?"
I nodded and smiled at him with a pleasant aura. "And you must be...?"
"Hwang Dong-Suk, at your service."
He seems nice enough, I guess.
"Nice to meet you. I think we'll get along well."
"Haha, I sure hope so! Okay, let's wait for our last member to arrive," he told his crew, letting me in on his words as well.
I sighed and took a seat on a bench a few meters away from the team. There was something weird about some of them, but I didn't make a big deal out of it. There was also someone in a flashy suit a few steps away from me, but I didn't make the effort to go and talk with him.
"This way!" Mr. Hwang Dong-Suk greeted, motioning to someone that had just entered the sight. I hopped off the bench and began walking towards him, a smile on my face. He spoke with Mr. Hwang Dong-Suk for a bit, and turned to face me after he was done. Before I could even begin, the guy with the glittering armour stepped in front of me. I tried motioning to him to move, but gave up with a sigh as he began speaking with Jin-Woo.
He snickered at me and listened to the guy who wouldn't shut up. His face turned uneasy as he flashed some sort of a smile at him, and it was my turn to chuckle. He moved away from him to walk beside me, and I barely even noticed his presence. As soon as I turned to the side he was there, and I almost jumped a few feet into the air. He laughed as I calmed down, and slapped him lightly.
"Don't scare me like that!" I complained, trying to get him to stop laughing.
"I'm sorry, but you're just as clueless as ever."
"And an attitude too? Wow, the way you change in a span of a day is still a mystery to me."
He grinned and walked up to Mr. Hwang Dong-Suk.
"What should I do?" He asked, and the man pointed to some luggage behind him.
"Nothing much. Just follow us and take care of our baggage. There should be all the necessary supplies in them, so we should be fine," he stated, rummaging through one to find a water flask.
"Um, excuse me sir, but are we going in without a healer?" I asked, making the man sigh.
"You should know it is hard to bring a healing Hunter to a personal attack force, Hunter Tae. Plus, we've always done it this way, so we should be just fine."
"Alright, I trust you. Take care of us, please," I bowed low, trying to look respectful.
"I'll put my life on the line to protect you all, I promise you that."
I sighed in relief, and turned to Jin-Woo. He went to grab some luggage from the men, and I followed. I didn't really have much to do, just carry light weight and provide protection for the team as a backup mage. I felt bad that Jin-Woo wouldn't be able to do any fighting, but he seemed relieved not to have to do any. This was quite odd, but I didn't question his reasons for hiding his talent. I mean, I hadn't seen him in action yet, but I would want to see how much he had grown.
"Alright, we're here. Is everyone ready?"
Everyone nodded and we began walking towards the large gate. I stayed beside Jin-Woo and the guy with the flashy suit, who was endlessly rambling about something. He just wouldn't shut up, would he?
I could tell Jin-Woo was getting incredibly annoyed, but he could tolerate it. Having a little sister really does have its perks when it comes to non-stop chatterboxes. I could not handle that, even for five minutes.
