Sung Jin-Woo

I leaned in towards her face, my vision dark. The whole world seemed to come to a halt, and only began speeding up as I felt her delicate hands on my cheeks. Instead of pushing away, she pulled my face in towards her, smashing her lips onto mine. The sudden shock of the feeling hit me, and I never wanted it to end. I pressed further against her cherry-sweet flavour, slipping my tongue into her mouth. She didn't resist, and found her hands in my hair. She was a lot shorter now that I was kissing her, and I leaned an inch forward to give her leverage. My hands landed gently on her hips, tongues intertwining almost at a tempo. Before I could even begin to process anything, she pulled away, her face stained heavily with a coat of blush.

I pulled her into a tight hug, and moved my mouth to her ear. She blushed more at the sensation, and I smiled slightly at her reaction.

"Remember what you promised me?" I asked slowly, rolling the words off my tongue.

"Promised you what?" She asked, confused.

I brought myself to face her, and gently took her cheek in my hand, brushing it softly.

"You promised me you'd marry me, silly," I reminded her with a smirk.

She grew even redder than before and shook her head as much as she could. She began to nervously conjure up a rebuttal, but I knew I had completely knocked her off balance with those words. As she finished trying to assess the situation, her figure turned away from me, and sped walked in the direction I was opposite from. My hand tried grabbing hers to stop her from leaving, but gave up as she was already a few meters away.

I was still in bliss from the moment and kiss we had just shared, and smiled to myself as I realized that she hadn't rejected me then. Walking slowly to the large glass wall on the side of the waiting area, I spotted the plane she was on, and moved my eyes near the front windows of the aircraft. Sure enough, she was there. I waved to her slightly, hoping she'd notice me. The second she caught a glimpse of what I hoped was me, a large grin was plastered on her adorable face.

She fogged up the airplane window with her breath, and traced her delicate finger against the glass. I facepalmed myself with a chuckle, seeing her attempt to write my name so I could read it. She surrounded the attempt of the name with a heart, and blew me a barely visible kiss from behind the clammy window screen. I grinned at her, and waved one last time before walking away. I continued staring at the window, seeing her face go from a heartfelt smile to a saddened frown. My heart stung heavily, and I tried too hard not to rush onto the plane and bring her back home. I loved her too much for my own good, and every time I saw her in this state, I wanted to be there for her. But I knew that I was the reason she had to do this. It was because of my actions that I won't see her for years.

I need to get stronger, and when she can come back, I can protect her with my bare hands.

In case something happened, I attached some shadow soldiers to watch over her at all times. I had done the same with Jin-Ah, so they would alert me anytime she was in danger. I couldn't protect her then, but hopefully they could. Plus, Japan has S Ranks and powerful Hunters that will definitely take care of her. And I'm pretty sure she'll continue her training, and one day be able to fight just as well as an S Rank.

With one last glance, I saw the plane begin to roll off into the distance. Its wheels were spinning rapidly already, and it was beginning to pick up speed with each meter. At one point, I could see it leaving the ground and taking off into the sky. I crossed my fingers and held them to my heart, knowing one day I would see her again.

And when that day came, I would be the one to save her, and be the one to call her,

My wife.
