Sung Rin-Cha

"Mommy! Mommy! Look, look!"

I crouched down to reach my daughter's level, and watched as she did a small pirouette.

"That was so adorable, sweetie! Can you do another one?" She grinned and nodded, spinning rapidly for ten seconds. I laughed at her sweetly, and caught her as she was about to fall from dizziness. She giggled and mimicked an explosion with her hands. I scooped her up in my arms, and held her under my right hand.

"Rin-Cha?"

I motioned over to him, and he grinned widely.

"Hey peanut," he cooed to the small girl in my arms.

"Daddy! Watch, watch!" I set her down as she spun again, and he chuckled lightly.

"You're so talented, little one," he squished her small cheek, and she fell down to the floor.

"Is Kon-Hye still asleep?"

He nodded and ruffled his hair. "I had to get up last night at three to calm him down. You were too tired from getting Min-Ah to sleep to even stir."

"Oh, I had no idea. Let him sleep for a bit more."

He walked up to me and put a hand on my growing stomach.

"This was your fault, y'know?" I said in a playfully angry tone.

"It was unavoidable, love," he whispered, and kissed me.

"We already have Min-Ah and Kon-Hye. You really want another munchkin running around here?"

"The more the better," he said sweetly with both hands on my stomach.

"Fine. But I have to decide the name this time."

"Do you know what gender it is yet?"

"No, I promised myself to keep it a surprise, remember? You don't know it either."

He begged me to check which gender it would be, but I ignored him and sat down on our couch, fishing for the remote.

"Are you teasing me, baby?" He crawled next to me, a playful hand on my cheek.

I smacked him away, and stuck my tongue out. He greeted me with another kiss, and applied a lot more force, shoving his tongue to battle mine.

"Jin-Woo-" I managed to speak out, and he stopped immediately.

"That can wait until later. I need to get started on dinner."

He sighed sadly and left me with another quick kiss on the lips. Min-Ah ran past me and jumped onto the couch, into her father's arms. I saw him laugh and pick her up, throwing her into the air softly. I chuckled and tied my hair into a high messy bun, walking into the kitchen.

The second I heated the stove and started to boil some water, I heard a very familiar sound. With groans, I called Jin-Woo over, who had Min-Ah on his shoulders. He sighed heavily as he set her down on the ground, and she hugged onto my legs.

"I'll take care of him. You just focus on dinner for now, okay?"

I nodded sleepily as he kissed my cheek.

"Mama, help?" She made a grabbing motion to me, and I chuckled lightly.

"Of course! Up we go," I scooped her into one arm, and she helped me throw in some of the ingredients to the soup.

It was a little bit of a challenge to cut the carrots with her in my arms, but she was so light she barely weighed anything.

The crying sounds of my son finally disappeared, and my ears were finally clear. I continued to stir the pot with her in my arms, and she had fallen asleep. I sighed happily and put a lid on it, and rested her over my shoulder.
