Sung Jin-Woo

"Love, could you bring me tea as well?"

"Yeah sure, green?"

I nodded as she poured steaming water into a mug, and plopped a tea bag into it. Her delicate fingers worked meticulously as she made sure not to burn herself, and placed the mug before me. As soon as she sat down beside me, I motioned in for a kiss, and she happily obliged.

I kept her on my chest in a light interlock, and she nuzzled herself into my warm body heat. I wrapped my arms around her, reaching for my book. She knocked it out of my hands as I grabbed it, a pout on her plump lips. She went in for another kiss, and I sank into the mesmerizing feeling.

It all ended when the water she was boiling was finished, and she hopped off me in an instant. I chuckled and grabbed my book, turning to the page I was on and continuing reading.

She walked up to me, another tea in hand. Setting it onto the table to cool, she grabbed a novel from under our coffee table and took a seat next to me. I let my legs over her lap, and she used them as a stand for the book she was reading. I was facing the end of the couch and she was facing the front, so I easily draped my legs over her lap. I'm sure she didn't mind, since we stayed there for an hour, silent and immersed in our books.

It was only when I got a phone call did I stand up, sad that I couldn't keep reading with her by my side.

As I picked it up, I sighed as it was another A Rank gate that they couldn't clear. I asked if they could send someone else, but Mr. Go Gun-Hee said he also wanted to discuss some things about the Ahjin Guild with me. With a sad look at her, I threw on my coat and walked to the door. She picked her head up and faced it in my direction, a quizzical expression on her face.

"Gate clear again?" She asked, standing up from the couch.

"Unfortunately. Mr. Go Gun-Hee needs to talk with me about something too, so I have to go in person."

"Aw, well don't be too long, okay? I'll start dinner and a bath when you get back," she winked.

"That sounds lovely, thank you baby," I cupped one of her cheeks in my hand, and caressed it softly.

"It won't be for more than an hour. Wait for me, okay?"

"Always," she smiled, and tip-toed up to peck me on the lips.

"For good luck!" She crossed her fingers and waved as I exchanged with a shadow soldier, already missing her cute face in the first five seconds of leaving her. I was transported through the abyss, and ended up a couple meters away from the gate. With sigh, I called Igris and Iron, and pointed to the gate. A few more soldiers appeared that were weaker than the two, but they'd be doing the mining and corpse collecting. Can't be too careful, so I made sure that my shadow ants didn't eat any of the dead enemies.

"You all know the drill. Let me know when you're finished."

They nodded and went straight to the gate. I could have just sent Igris alone, but I know that two would make this twice as fast. I just wanted to get this over to get home to Rin-Cha already, but sometimes we would be separated. No matter what, I would sometimes not be there for her. Luckily, I attached a lot of soldiers to her to ensure her safety, and I was wondering if I needed to get Igris or Iron to guard her as well. I'll probably do that once I get back, but now I need to go and see Mr. Go Gun-Hee. Whatever he needed to say must be so important to pull me away from Rin-Cha. If it isn't, I would be pissed.

I arrived at his office a few minutes later, and opened the door with a squeak. His eyes darted to me as I walked in, and he gave me a warm smile. "Mr. Sung Jin-Woo, please take a seat. We have a lot to discuss."
