Chapter 20: Truth

Ivy's POV

As much as I love Jack, I couldn't help but hate him right now. How could he let this monster free?!? He tried to kill Hannibal! How could he be free? This thought only lingered in the back of my head, Today was moving day. I brought a few things like a whole wardrobe of clothes, and a few things from my past, the rest could be left behind. I hope Hannibal was alright last night. It felt weird not having someone sleeping beside me. I also missed Hannibal's bed too. I mean it's a silk fucking bed!!
I hopped in my car and went off to Hannibal's.
When I got there, Hannibal greeted me with a hug and a kiss. He didn't stop smiling too.
"Baby! You don't know how much I missed you!"

"Don't get me started! I missed you so much....I know it was only a night, but It felt like a week"
It felt so weird....He called me baby. That's really not like Hannibal. In anyway, our 'celebration' didn't last long, as we had work to do. Hannibal had no appointments this morning, so he came with me. I was working on some old unsolved cases which needed some attention. I was never given an office, so I was force into the open, next to Jimmy and Brian. Hannibal arrived later to relieve me of them.
"Hello, Ivy" He said with a wolffish grim.
"Hey! Can we go soon?" I said leaving a lipstick mark on his lips.
Meanwhile, I had forgotten that Jack was the only one who knew of 'us'. Jimmy and Brian just stood and stared.
"What? It's not like you've seen anyone kiss before!" I yelled at them

"So....You two are?" Stuttered Brian

"What does it look like?! Of course they are!" Argued Jimmy. The two bickered while me and Hannibal snook away.

Hannibal lay out the table as if we were dining with the Queen. He always told me that I was his Queen, so I guess this would be my standards. I sat down as he brought out our deserts.
"Absolutely beautiful! And it chocolate!"

"Always the best for you"

"So tell me, why do we have diner so late tonight? You told me that your 7 o'clock appointment was free"

"You see, my darling, it was.Ive taken on....lets say an old patient"

"Oh.....Who?" I slowly raised a spoonful of chocolate cake towards my mouth.
"It's Will Graham"
That chocolate cake never reached my mouth. I dropped my spoon and nearly threw a tantrum. I did feel like a child but I had my reasons.
"How could you?! He tried to kill you!" I said pulling up his shirt sleeve to revel a long scar over his wrist, running towards his elbow.
"True, he tried.....But I am still here, ain't I?"

"But he's a monster......"

"All monsters have motives....Will's was a hunch that may have killed me"

"But you're innocent! He would have killed an innocent man, and put a crazed one in prison to join him!"

"Will is completely innocent, it's Dr.Chilton who should be worried"

"I'm going to bed...."
I stormed off. I do love Hannibal but for an educated man, he's not very smart. At least I know the truth......Will was let go and was proven innocent. I'm just going to have to live with that....

Ok, so tomorrow school is over and in a week or so Hannibal season 3 begins😆 I have some big plans coming up and with that more uploads, so yeah. I will try to upload more regularly.
