Chapter 27: News

Ivy's POV
I thought that if I drove, I could find my own little paradise and everything would just fade away. But no! Things like that can't happen. The only place I knew where to hide was work. I headed towards it, with full speed. When I finally reach the dreaded Body room, I found my into Katz office. Poor Beverly......Why did she have to go?! I've lived in America for a good few years now, but still I hadn't made any real friends, and Beverly was the closest thing I ever had to a real friend. It just seems I can't have nice things. I began getting lost in work.....

Hannibal's POV

I was extremely busy today. Nobody cancelled and I couldn't be there for Ivy. I guess I have to get used to her not being here all the time. My end is already been set in motion, but hopefully I will not be alone. I will have her by my side when I leave. I expected to say in Baltimore a lot longer than this......I guess things just won't go to plan.

Ivy's POV

Hours pasted as I tried to drive somewhere. I tired of work and instead head out for the mountains. I got lost along the way, and ended up at Will's house. I was running out of fuel, so this was the greatest place to end up. The minute I stepped out of the car, his dogs began to bark. Oh boy.....He knows I'm here. I slowly approached the door. Will stood there, staring at me.
"What brings you here? It's quite late"

"I went for a drive, got lost and I ended up here. My car is low on fuel.....Can I come in?"

"Hope you don't mind dogs. Do you want anything to drink? I have whiskey"

"I love dogs! I used to have loads back in Iceland"

"That's right, you lived in Iceland, didn't you? So drink or what?"

"Umm.....I can't drink"
I always drink! He knows something is wrong......Ah fuck! I don't really trust Will but I guess I'm going to have to tell him
"Not drinking? That's odd.....So not a fight with Hannibal, so are you going to tell me?"

"Will......I'm, um..........Im pregnant"

".......Well that's s shock to the system....How did Hannibal take it?"

"That's the thing....."

"You haven't told him! Well you need too, I'll get you some fuel, and then you go back there and tell him"
Will didn't understand....Were not ready for a baby! I'm not ready.......Of course I love him, but I want to seethe world, take vengeance on it.......I can't do that and care for a child! Will forced me to go home. I drove home. It began to rain. My lights needed work and I could really see. I made it home, but I forgot my key. I knocked and knocked. By now I was soaked, and freezing. I thought, this couldn't be good for the baby! Come on Hannibal! A few more minutes and still nothing. I decided to ring him. He was getting ready for bed! It was 12 o'clock! When he finally opened the door, he was shocked. I was soaked, my hair was a mess, my car was filthy.
"Darling! Where have you been?!"

" You really don't want to know....."

"Come on, let's get to bed......Really where have you been!"

After drying my hair, from the rain, I felt guilty. Like I had to tell Hannibal. He was just outside the closest. I could do it now. Get it over with. Yes! Great idea!
"Hannibal? Can you come here a second?"

"Whats wrong?"

"Well I went to the doctor today, and I got some news....."

"What's wrong?! You're not te-"

"Hannibal! I'm fucking pregnant!"

Hannibal's POV

Oh dear god......This can not happen! My end is in motion....I need to be there for this child. I need it to be like me......But Ivy, she's not ready. He mind isn't prepared for this or even fully prepared for me! She's not ready for a child! Wait I'm not ready for a child! I planned everything out! Everything! Why did I have to have unprotected sex! Stupid drunk night.......I'm not ready. We're not ready...
