When I hit the muscly chest, it was the sparks that allowed me to instantly know who it was.

"Jett." I breath out in annoyance.

"The one and only babe." He said back to me. "Your not going to meet Sofie."

I looked up at him.

"No. You can't tell me what to do!" I spat and tried to go around him, but he blocked me again.

"I already told her to go home." He said. "We have a few things to discuss. McKenna."

Judging from his tone I knew that it was serious.

"Fine." I said. "I'll listen to you if you promise to do the same to me."

Jett didn't smile and I didn't either. I just just followed him to a place he said that we'd be able to talk in.

He ended up leading me to a park. A place filled with memories of my family from when I was little came into mind.

Placing a small smile on my face.

"We need to talk about us." Jett said.

"Is there even an us?" I asked. "Because I wouldn't know if there was."

Jett adverted his eyes that I believed were filled with bits of anger and sadness.

"McKenna. You need to understand one thing."

His voice came out like the iceberg that hit the titanic, unexpected and cold.

"And that is?"

"You have a choice, just as you gave me." Jett let out a sigh.

"What are the two options." I was curious to see what he was talking about.

"You and me begin our relationship on a date tomorrow, and continue on from there. Both being able to agree on pack matters and so forth" He paused, looks like the second option was hard to say. "Or you can choose to leave me."

I sighed falling to my knees.

What should I do?

All I want right now, is a break from life but I lost that privilege, once I came to this state.

Once I met him...

Jett.

I stared up at him curiously. My head had enough, but my heart strangely craves to give him endless amount of chances.

I didn't say anything, but raised my hands up in the air.

Waiting for Jett to catch on, I soon felt our hands touch.

With that single action, millions of tiny sparks filled both the inside and outside of my body.

It was a nice and pleasurable feeling, but I wasn't getting used to it.

"How should I dress for tomorrow? Cute? Casual? Fancy?" I asked Jett as he pulled me up.

With a smile Jett replied, "Casual."

"Thanks." I replied and began walking down the side walk.

"I should be thanking you. Your the one whose giving me another chance." Jett's voice softened and his left hand held mine.

I shrugged and took my hand out of his. I pushed his body away from me as I continued to walk.

"Whatever." I paused. "Just don't fuck it up mister Black."

My eyes saw the ends of his lips twitch up into a smirk.

"No promises." He countered what I told a few days ago. Clever but old.
