My eyes widen and then narrowed within the same period of realization that it was Hector who spoke to me.

"You should know of all people that this will never be okay with me." I said.

I took a step closer inside the room and the shut behind me. So he locked them, great.

"I suppose." Hector spoke. "But after all I've won this fight." He smirked as he pulled out a needle.

"Stop!" I yelled at him as I ran, but I was too late.

Hector poked the needle into Jett's system and his eyes turned to me. They emitted a reddish glow.

Hectors laugh was the only thing that could be heard in the silence.

"You failed to realize what all of those experiments you killed, had is common." Hectors voice led on and I glared at him. "They all had werewolf genes."

   My body was in shock.

What? No way that's not true. It can't be true.

But when I witnessed Jett's beating chest stop, I couldn't control the rage I felt.

I lunged at Hector before he had the time to notice anything and bashed his body against the glass wall which stood in the middle of the room. Without giving him time to respond, I rip my necklace and grabbed the dagger in my hand.

As I went to plunge it into his heart, I stopped. Was I really ready to end this?

The moment of hesitation gave Hector the chance he needed to recover. He threw me against the table Jett was lying on. That's when I noticed that he was still alive, but how?

Not being able to think any longer as to why he survived the fatal attack, I got off of him and grabbed the pint of blood that was on a table next to him. My fingers reacted and threw the pint at Hector, aiming for his face.

But Hector dodged most of it as some did get on him, but he didn't show any sign of care about it. The blood fell to the floor and I knew that fazed him since it was what he was working for this whole time. To create the perfect being.

"You bitch!" He screamed and I shrugged as he lunged at me. I had the reflect of side stepping whenever someone came at me, and so I kicked him hard in his lungs.

"You don't realize that you were the one who put me in the material arts class as a child." I spat at him as I yanked his shirt so he'd look at me.

Those green eyes. Those freaking eyes are the ones that belong to me. They held a resemblance that wasn't a mistake, but a burden.

With a smile, Hector punched me. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be which means that he lost most of his strength or he poisoned me.

"Your a disgrace to this universe." I said to him as my anger continued to rise. "Killing people for the sake of your experiment. People who were precious to others, just like Trevor was to me and Dakota was to Jett."

Hector laughed and I tightened my grip on the collar of his shirt.

"But this disgrace is the one who brought you life." He smiled before entering into an eerie chuckle. The kind that was sickening and dark in its own way.

"Your not my father." I said to Hector. "You lost that title long ago when you walked out on us."

   His smile faded.

"I walked out on your mother because I had a future!" He shouted. "I was not willing to give that up for a pair of weak people who didn't understand my love for science."
