"That hurt a lot more than I imagined." I said to Sadi as she stared at my neck.

"It'll hurt worse when it's permanent, this one is just temporary." Sadi told me as she continued to glance at the spot.

"Now all I have to do is wait for him to come." I spoke out loud as Sadi began walking away to the spot we decided on that seemed best for her to wait at.

"Remember to not speak too much of what happened. And just lure him over here." I nodded as Sadi reminded me and I went over the game plan in my head.

Within a few minutes I began to feel Jett's presence. It got stronger as he continued to make his way over.

"McKenna?" He asked in a loud voice and I waved at him before answering.

"Sup." I replied casually as I didn't want to give it away too soon or else this would be ruin.

"Sup?" Jett raised his brow and I stood my ground. "What did you call me for?"

What should I say?

"I don't know you tell me..." I said teasingly in a low voice.

That caught Jett's attention and it wasn't difficult to see the lust and desire peeping from his blue eyes.

"McKenna-" Jett was about to continue when he suddenly narrowed his eyes at me. "Have you been with another male?"

I wanted to swallow my spit as I felt intimidated. I'm pretty sure my knees would've given out if it wasn't for the constant voice in my head reminding me why exactly I was doing what I was.

"I actually wanted to talk to you about that Jett." I whispered before staring into his eyes with a soft and innocent look.

As if he knew what I was about to say, he shook his head.

"I'm sure this is a lie, right?" His voice didn't hold any emotion and I didn't bother speaking.

Just as Jett came closer to say something, the wind blew. And as it did my eyes never left Jett's as I wanted to see how he would take it, the mark that I bared upon my skin.

The mark that didn't belong to him...

My hair brushed against my skin before all of it flowed behind me as the wind passed by. It revealed the foreign mark on my neck which had caused his eyes to widen and then shift to a darker color blue before being engulfed in pure blackness.

This, I knew he wouldn't take the news well. And he didn't.

No words were spoken as his eyes looked away filled with anger but most of all disappointment.

"I'm sorry-" I tried to say but was stopped.

"I don't want to hear anymore of your bullshit." He spoke in a cold tone as he tighten his fists.

Blood was dripping down from his knuckles and palms once again, as his nails clawed at his own skin.

I couldn't move. I stood there in shock as I couldn't believe how badly I wanted to run over and comfort him after slapping him. My heart pulled in an definable pain that was I've never had before.

Before I had a chance to tell him everything, my wrist buzzed and my watery eyes looked down.

Run away.

I didn't realize what it meant until I suddenly remember the rest of the plan.

"I'm leaving with Trevor." I cleared my throat which grabbed his attention.
