Chapter 1: How it all began

Emma Darhk has an average height of 5'5, with long thick light straight golden blonde hair, bright vibrant blue eyes, light skin with freckles on her nose and cheekbones. She also has a very large and very noticeable scar over her right shoulder. Emma, like all the other hybrids, has unique powers, she can control lightning with her twinning hand swords, and can control things with her mind; she can move things, make people see things, and make them unconscious. But it takes a lot out of her, which is why she doesn't use them very often.
Emma Darhk might look like a normal teen but is most definitely not your typical upbeat 18 year old girl. She has a past, a dark one.

When she was 11, almost turning 12 years old, her mother, who was a fairy, was
murdered right before her eyes. It was a cold and rainy night, Emma heard a loud noise so she got up to see what it was. Her half brother, Jason, was at Tikithi starting his first year. He was half human half fairy and the reason her mother was exiled from Dreyvina,

The Land of Fairies. They are forbidden to fraternize with humans. Emma on the other hand is half fairy half god, daughter of Zeus.
When Emma walked into the living room she saw her mother, Aurora, bleeding on the floor, still alive, with a man with his back to her with a knife in his hand. Before she could've done or said anything, someone knocked her out, and she only woke up days later at the hospital. To her dismay, her father was there to greet her when she woke up with 10 stitches above her right shoulder. She barely knew him and hated him for not being present. Emma received the news that her mother was dead from her father. She sobbed and weeped and Zeus only stood there looking at her, not one word, one hug, no nothing. Hours later she asked for Will, her childhood best friend, the person who knew her better than she knew herself, the person she has known since she was born. Will was her only friend and the person Emma relied on most. But he was gone. He ran away from Manchester, to Xamari, to live with his half brother Noah and Noah's father Liam.
Will was like her, whose parent was a god who was never there. His mother is Aphrodite, goddess of love. And his father, Caius, is a demon hunter. He also has powers, but they are different from Emma's; he can take people's pain away and control people's emotions. Noah was also the son of Aphrodite and a demon hunter. Apparently the Goddess of Love had a thing for demon hunters.
When she got out of the hospital her father sent her to spend the few months she had left before she was allowed to attend Tikithi, to live with the headmistress/president of Xamari, Agnes Miller. She was a tall oriental lady, with blue eyes, long black hair and gray locks on. Though no one knew her actual age. Emma had run into Will the day that she had moved to Xamari, and it wasn't a happy encounter. He was a jerk to her, completely awful, a completely different person. She was shocked at how much he changed in so little time. They started to hate each other so much that when they started school they made sure that no one other than their siblings knew their past with each other.
