In a world so complex, so vast and so wide,
A tiny flutter of wings can cause a great tide,

Can set in motion, a grand, cosmic course.

The air that we breathe, the waves on the shore,
The thundering storms, the rains that pour,
All these are linked, in ways we can't see,
The butterfly effect, a mysterious decree.

One small change, one tiny choice,
Can alter the future, can give a new voice,
To the paths we take, the roads we choose,
To the lives we lead, the love we lose.

For every action, a reaction ensues,
A ripple effect, a chain that accrues,
And in the end, we can only surmise,
The course of our lives, the path of our guise.

So let us be mindful, of each step we take,
Of every decision, of every mistake,
For in the grand scheme, we are but a part,
Of the butterfly effect, a work of art.

A little imagination:
