The tears that fall from me
I don't want you to know
How far I've fallen low
I don't want you to see
The pain that lives in me
I don't want you to think
That I am on the brink

The darkness inside of me
I don't want you to see
How depressed I've come to be
But in the end, I know
I cannot hide and go
I need to seek some aid
To help me through this shade
And though it may be tough
To open up and be rough
It's better than to stall
And let the darkness call
So I'll be brave and strong
And know that I belong
