Us?

We love too fast and too deep, 
And find ourselves in the unknown,
More than friends, but less than lovers,

We share a bond that's hard to describe,

But we're not sure what it means,

We talk and laugh, and share our dreams,
But we're afraid to take the leap,
To move beyond this uncertain place, And find a love that's complete.

And so we remain in this in-between, Our emotions we try to hide.

But we can't deny the love we feel, Even though it's hard to define,
It's a love that's pure and unconditional,
A love that's hard to confine.

We may be stuck in this unknown place,
Where we're more than friends, but less than lovers,
But we'll take each step as it comes, And let our love guide us like no other.

For even if we're lost in this in-between,

As we journey through life side by side.
